Job DescriptionPosition Overview: As a Java Spring Boot Microservices Developer at Mercedes‑Benz, the candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high‑performance and scalable applications. The role requires collaboration with cross‑functional teams, ensuring smooth integration of internal and customer-facing products, and following best development practices. Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.Design, develop, and maintain Java Spring Boot applications.Write clean, well‑documented, maintainable code.Develop front-end interfaces using Angular / Vue.js / Pinia.Work with PostgreSQL ensuring data integrity and performance optimization.Deploy and manage applications using Kubernetes on Azure.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance issues.Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.4–9 years of hands-on experience in Java Spring Boot.Strong understanding of design principles, data structures, and algorithms.Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL queries.Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization.Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).Strong problem‑solving and teamwork skills.Excellent communication skills.Preferred Skills:Microservices and API developmentDevOps / CI‑CD exposureFront-end: Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, PiniaSpring MVC, HibernateAzure / AWS knowledgeGitLab / ADO pipelines
