Your work profile

• Led end-to-end implementation and support of MercuryGate Transportation Management System (TMS) solutions for global clients.
• Gathered and analyzed business requirements to design scalable transportation and logistics solutions.
• Configured MercuryGate modules including carrier management, rating, routing, tendering, shipment execution, and freight audit.
• Worked closely with business stakeholders, operations teams, and technical teams to translate requirements into system configurations.
• Managed integration of MercuryGate with ERP, WMS, EDI, API, and third-party logistics platforms.
• Conducted system testing, UAT support, defect resolution, and production deployment activities.
• Provided functional expertise and troubleshooting support for transportation planning and execution processes.
• Developed process documentation, solution design documents, training materials, and user guides.
• Led client workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution demonstrations.
• Coordinated with offshore and onshore teams to ensure timely project delivery and issue resolution.
• Supported continuous improvement initiatives to optimize transportation operations and reduce logistics costs.
• Mentored junior consultants and provided guidance on MercuryGate best practices and implementation methodologies.

Key skills required

• Maintenance & Support: Primary responsibility as MercuryGate support consultant to handle MercuryGate application related issues and on integration related issues and requests.
• Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring reliable TMS operations and supporting users with technical queries.
• Enhancement Support: Lead and participate in MercuryGate TMS Enhancement implementations, including requirements gathering, workflow development, testing, and go-live support.
• Solution Design: Analyze business logistics and transportation requirements, and develop innovative solutions within the MercuryGate TMS platform.
• Configuration & Integration: Configure MercuryGate modules (e.g., carrier management, load planning, rate management) and integrate with external systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, EDI/process automation tools).
• Client Training: Deliver user training sessions and create documentation to support client self-sufficiency and adoption.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify process enhancement opportunities and deploy MercuryGate features to increase operational efficiency and visibility.
