Job Title:  Senior Consultant | Mobile Developers - React Native | Bengaluru | Marketing & Commerce

We are looking for a Engineer with deep technical understanding with proven track record of developing junior skills, who does not just write code but elevates projects, initiatives and engineering practice. Someone who can balance cutting edge innovation with rock-solid stability. Candidate must be able to work independently, effectively and efficiently in a collaborative agile environment with senior technical leads, scrum masters, solution engineers, designers, and developers.

Key responsibilities:

• Core Technical Expertise:
• Deep React Native Mastery
• Extensive experience (5+ years) of building, shipping and maintaining complex RN apps
• Understands core concepts intimately
• JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency: 
• Expert-level knowledge of modern JS and strong preference for TypeScript (types, interfaces, generics) Native Platform Understanding (iOS and Android) Crucial for debugging, performance optimisation and native module integration. Familiarity with Xcode, Android Studio, Java / Kotlin (Android), Swift/Obj C (iOS) Proven experience selecting and implementing solutions at scale.
• Navigation Expertise with major libraries (React Navigation, React Native Navigation)
• Performance Optimization 
• Deep understanding of profiling, identifying bottlenecks and applying solutions.

Architecture and Engineering Practice:

App Architecture Design 

• Experience designing scalable, maintainable architectures.

Cross -Platform Strategy

• Ability to balance code reuse with platform-specific needs (design, functionality) – “Knows when to go native” Frameworks and Integration
• Experience with additional frameworks and Integration with React frameworks (i.e. Expo, NextJS)

Testing 

• Champions testing – Implements CI/CD pipelines incorporating testing.
• Unit testing – Experience with Jest and React Native testing library for validating component behaviour, props, state changes and hooks.
• Performance and reliability – Experience with native profilers (Xcode instruments, Android profiler) to ensure apps perform well under real-world conditions.
• Experience with Test Driven Development.

Experience setting up and managing mobile-specific CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing and app store deployments.

• Security Awareness: Knowledge of mobile app security best practices (secure storage, HTTPS, auth tokens, code obfuscation).
• Monitoring and Analytics:Experience integrating crash reporting (Sentry, Crashlytics) performance monitoring and analytics tools.

Tooling:

• 3rd Party Library evaluation
• Expert at assessing libraries for stability, maintenance, performance impact and licensing.
• Build Tools and Dependencies
• Debugging Tools Mastery
• Familiarity with Complementary Tech
• Understanding of backend integration, push notifications, offline capabilities and analytics.

Leadership and Soft skills:

• Technical leadership
• Ability to guide architecture decisions, set coding standards, perform impactful code reviews and mentor junior/mid-level engineers.
• Communication and collaboration
• Excellent communication with technical teams, product managers, designers and stakeholders. Ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly.

Preferred Industry Experience and Traits: Banking or Financial Services background would be preferred
