Job Title: Senior Consultant | Oracle Analytics Cloud | Bengaluru | Oracle
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Varicent compensation models, rules, and workflows to support sales incentive plans.
Build and optimize calculation logic, crediting rules, and data models within the Varicent platform.
Develop and maintain ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from CRM, ERP, and other business systems into Varicent.
Create customized reports, dashboards, and analytics to provide actionable insights into sales performance and compensation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales Operations, Finance, HR, and Compensation Analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform unit, integration, and system testing to validate compensation calculations and system functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data, calculations, and platform performance.
Maintain documentation of system configurations, business rules, and technical processes.
Support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and data privacy regulations.
Stay updated with Varicent product updates and best practices, recommending continuous improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
Proven experience (5+ years) in Varicent ICM development and configuration.
Strong SQL and ETL skills, with experience integrating data from CRM (Salesforce preferred), ERP, or HR systems.
Understanding of sales compensation, incentive plans, and crediting methodologies.
Experience with reporting tools and analytics within Varicent or similar platforms.
Ability to troubleshoot complex business and technical problems.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with business and technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of scripting languages (JavaScript, Python) is a plus.
Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
