Job Title: Software QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Software QA Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in web and mobile application testing, API validation, and a solid understanding of Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and stakeholders to understand and analyze functional and non-functional requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Perform Sanity, Functional, Regression, and UAT testing across multiple environments including staging and production.
• Conduct API testing using Postman and SOAP UI, validating request/response and integrating backend verification using databases (e.g., DBeaver).
• Validate end-to-end workflows for E-commerce platforms, including product setup, cart, checkout, discounts, coupons, and order management systems (OMS).
• Test and validate payment gateway integrations, including credit/debit cards, digital wallets, and banking systems (NEFT, RTGS, SWIFT, ACH).
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, including mobile application testing on iOS and Android devices.
• Identify, log, track, and manage defects using bug tracking tools; perform root cause analysis for production issues.
• Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript for regression and smoke testing.
• Integrate and execute automated test suites in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Work closely with developers for build deployments, environment validation, and release sign-offs.

Required Skills:

• 5–7 years of experience in Software Testing (Manual + Automation)
• Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Bug Life Cycle
• Hands-on experience with Postman, SOAP UI, and database validation tools
• Experience in Playwright with TypeScript for test automation
• Good understanding of E-commerce and payment systems
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
• Experience in mobile testing (iOS & Android) and cross-browser testing
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Good to Have:

• Experience with BrowserStack or similar platforms
• Knowledge of marketing tools (MoEngage, Segment, Dynamic Yield)
• Exposure to OMS systems and customer engagement platforms

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
