As a Senior Business Analyst, you will define, analyze, and deliver business and system requirements that drive transformation in the BFSI domain. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, perform data-driven analysis, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while enabling innovative solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and develop fit-for-purpose system requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform data analysis to support requirement development and decision-making.
  • Conduct as-is and future-state system analysis to enable seamless project delivery.
  • Ensure requirements comply with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore and implement business initiatives.
  • Create or adapt models and frameworks to support business unit requirements.

 

What You’ll Bring

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

  • 9+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the BFSI domain.
  • Strong expertise in business systems analysis and requirements elicitation techniques.
  • Solid understanding of project management lifecycles and large-scale project delivery.
  • Ability to work autonomously on complex tasks and collaborate effectively in teams.
  • Proficiency in financial data analysis and banking processes, especially risk management systems.
  • Hands-on experience with:
  • SQL and SAS for database analysis
  • Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and quantitative analysis skills.
  • Ability to translate analysis outcomes into commercial solutions.

Good-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience in Quality Assurance and solution validation.
  • Knowledge of solution design and systems analysis for IT implementations.
  • Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
