As a Senior Business Analyst, you will define, analyze, and deliver business and system requirements that drive transformation in the BFSI domain. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, perform data-driven analysis, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while enabling innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and develop fit-for-purpose system requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Perform data analysis to support requirement development and decision-making.
- Conduct as-is and future-state system analysis to enable seamless project delivery.
- Ensure requirements comply with internal policies and external regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore and implement business initiatives.
- Create or adapt models and frameworks to support business unit requirements.
What You’ll Bring
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- 9+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the BFSI domain.
- Strong expertise in business systems analysis and requirements elicitation techniques.
- Solid understanding of project management lifecycles and large-scale project delivery.
- Ability to work autonomously on complex tasks and collaborate effectively in teams.
- Proficiency in financial data analysis and banking processes, especially risk management systems.
- Hands-on experience with:
- SQL and SAS for database analysis
- Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and quantitative analysis skills.
- Ability to translate analysis outcomes into commercial solutions.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in Quality Assurance and solution validation.
- Knowledge of solution design and systems analysis for IT implementations.
- Strong presentation and stakeholder engagement skills.
