Your work profile

• The Senior Performance Test Engineer will be responsible for leading and executing performance testing engagements using Tricentis Neo Load across enterprise applications.
• The role requires ownership of performance test strategy, workload modelling, script development, execution, analysis, and reporting, working closely with SMEs and project teams to identify performance risks and system bottlenecks, and to provide actionable insights for performance optimization.

Performance Test Strategy & Planning

• Define and own the performance test plan, strategy, and overall testing approach for load and performance testing initiatives
• Collaborate with SMEs, architects, and project teams to identify performance scope, non-functional requirements, and success criteria
• Identify application performance risks early in the delivery lifecycle

Neo Load Script Development & Execution

• Develop, maintain, and enhance performance test scripts using Tricentis NeoLoad
• Design and build realistic workload models, including:
• User volumes
• Concurrent sessions
• Test durations
• Transactions per second (TPS)
• Hit rates
• Execute load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests using NeoLoad

Workload Modelling & Test Data Management

• Design detailed workload distribution models aligned with production usage patterns
• Identify, prepare, and manage test data required for performance testing scenarios
• Validate test data and environment readiness prior to execution

Monitoring, Analysis & Bottleneck Identification

• Capture performance statistics during test execution
• Analyze performance results to identify bottlenecks in application, middleware, database, and infrastructure layers
• Identify script-level issues during load testing and debug or fix NeoLoad scripts as required

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

• Prepare executive summary reports and detailed performance test reports post execution
• Clearly communicate performance findings, risks, and recommendations to:
• Project teams
• Technical leads
• Business stakeholders

Key skills required

• Develop, maintain, and enhance performance test scripts using Tricentis Neo Load
• 7 to10 years of hands-on experience in Neo Load and Performance Testing
• Tricentis Neo Load – strong hands-on experience in scripting, execution, and analysis
• Experience in performance testing of Web applications (Web/HTTP/HTML) and/or APIs
• Ability to define performance test strategies and execution approaches
• Strong skills in workload modelling and performance analysis
• Experience identifying and reporting performance bottlenecks
• Hands-on experience fixing script issues during load testing
• Experience with test management tools, preferably Spira
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Test Management & Delivery Support

• Utilize test management tools such as Spira for test planning, execution tracking, and reporting
• Support performance testing across multiple test cycles and releases
• Ensure adherence to delivery timelines and quality expectations across concurrent assignments

Problem Solving & Collaboration

• Apply strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose complex performance issues
• Work closely with development, testing, and infrastructure teams to support performance tuning and remediation
• Demonstrate clarity in communication and structured problem-solving approaches

 Technical Skills – Good to Have

• Performance testing experience with SAP landscapes
• Exposure to APM or monitoring tools
• Experience in enterprise-scale application environments
• Knowledge of performance optimization and tuning concepts

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
