Power BI – Data Visualization Engineer
The Power BI Senior Developer will work on fast paced, result oriented projects to improve the customer satisfaction and timely delivery of vehicles. The responsibilities include -
1. Experience with Power BI Desktop, Data Modeling, Power Query ,Advance Data Connectivity ,Monitoring etc in Power BI
2. Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop
3. Writing simple to highly complex DAX queries
4. Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
5. Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
6. Skilled in authoring/troubleshooting SQL queries and hands-on skill to build Views / Tables / Stored Procedure in Database.
7. Expert knowledge and application of general and tool specific connectivity, data modeling, source data procurement strategies (Database, import/cached), security configuration, performance tuning, usage of right visuals, layout optimization, mobility, scripting and integrating advanced analytics into visualization tools
8. Familiarity with user-centered design and testing methodologies and usability and accessibility concerns
9. Communication Skills to engage technical developers, architects and stake holders
10. Self-motivated, organized and good in taking initiative. Innovative and able to guide junior team members
11. Must have experience in working with AGILE, KANBAN methodologies
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. B. Tech, BE, M. Tech or ME degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
2. 3+ years of hands on experience in Power BI
3. Expert in using advanced level calculation on the data set
4. Hands on experience in Microsoft Azure
5. Experience providing technical leadership and mentoring other engineers for best practices
6. Knowledge of software engineering best practices across the development lifecycle, including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations
7. Mindset and analytical skills to towards continuous improvement and have an edge to always research on latest technologies
8. Passion for building great notification experiences which directly impacts our customers
9. Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service
Key Notes -
- Strong expertise in writing complex SQL to build tables, aggregated views, stored procedure is must.
- Very good experience in handling transformations, ETL in Power Query.
- Strong Data Modelling experience.
- DAX is mandatory and should be good hands-on.
