Your work profile

You will design and build enterprise AI agents, and the integrations behind them, on the Microsoft stack. Copilot Studio is your deepest skill but not your only one. You are at home in Power Platform and Azure, and you can take a business problem from first conversation to a governed production solution.

You will work across clients, industries and use cases, moving between build and shaping solutions as the work demands.

 Key skills required: 

• Design AI agents end to end in Copilot Studio: orchestration, instructions, knowledge, tools, multi-agent patterns, channels and handoff to people.
• Choose the right Microsoft building block for each need: Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility, Power Apps and Power Automate, or pro-code on Azure and Microsoft Foundry. Justify the choice on cost, effort and risk.
• Design and build integrations with enterprise systems using REST APIs, custom connectors, Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Functions and messaging services.
• Design knowledge retrieval that gives accurate, permission-aware answers: content preparation, indexing, Azure AI Search, grounding and evaluation.
• Build on Azure with the basics done properly: identity, networking, secrets, monitoring and cost control.
• Set up and run delivery pipelines: source control, CI/CD in Azure DevOps or GitHub, Power Platform solutions and environments, automated tests, rollback.
• Measure the speed, accuracy and running cost of what you build, and fix problems with evidence.
• Apply governance: data loss prevention, environment strategy, access control and responsible AI guardrails.
• Support solutioning: turn a client problem into solution options, an architecture view, estimates, assumptions and risks. Contribute to proposals and demos.
• Review developers' work, coach them, and explain technical trade-offs to client stakeholders in plain language.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education - Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Management, or a related field
• Deep expertise & 4–8 years in software delivery, with 4 or more years on the Microsoft stack.
• At least 18 months hands-on in Copilot Studio with generative orchestration, and at least one agent in production with real users.
• Power Platform: Dataverse, Power Automate, custom connectors, solutions and environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Azure: Microsoft Entra ID, Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, storage, Key Vault, Azure Monitor and Application Insights, virtual networks and private endpoints. You can deploy and troubleshoot, not only name the services.
• Working Knowledge of Azure AI: Microsoft Foundry (formerly Azure AI Foundry) or Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, retrieval-augmented generation in practice, and evaluation of agent responses.
• Working Knowledge of Integration: REST, OAuth 2.0, webhooks and event-driven patterns. You have integrated with at least two enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, ITSM or HR platforms.
• Working Knowledge of Pipelines: Git, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, Power Platform application lifecycle management, automated deployment across environments.
• Solutioning skills for: architecture diagrams, non-functional requirements, estimates, and written recommendations a client can act on.

Good to have

• Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility: declarative agents, Copilot connectors, Microsoft Graph.
• Pro-code agent development: Microsoft 365 Agents SDK, Semantic Kernel or Microsoft Agent Framework, Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.
• Infrastructure as code with Bicep or Terraform.
• Data pipelines with Azure Data Factory or Microsoft Fabric.
• Dynamics 365 or Microsoft Teams app development.
• An agent or automation platform outside Microsoft, such as Salesforce Agentforce, ServiceNow or UiPath, or an open-source framework such as LangGraph.
• Multilingual or voice agents in production.
• Current Microsoft certifications in Power Platform, Azure or AI.
