Job Title: Senior SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer (6–9 Years)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer with 6–9 years of experience to lead complex SAP development initiatives. The candidate should have deep expertise in ABAP on HANA, architecture understanding, and the ability to design high-performance, scalable solutions aligned with S/4HANA best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design and development of complex ABAP solutions in S/4HANA landscape
• Architect and implement HANA-optimized developments using:
• CDS Views (Advanced)
• AMDP
• Code pushdown techniques
• Design and develop RESTful and OData services for SAP Fiori applications
• Lead Enhancement Framework implementations (BADIs, BTEs, implicit/explicit enhancements)
• Perform advanced performance tuning using HANA tools (ST05, SAT, SQL Monitor, etc.)
• Drive technical design discussions and provide scalable solutions
• Integrate SAP with external systems using IDocs, APIs, RFCs, Web Services
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews & quality assurance
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders
• Support S/4HANA implementations, upgrades, and migration projects
• Ensure adherence to clean core principles and SAP best practices

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on expertise in Core ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP
• Extensive experience in:
• CDS Views (analytical, transactional, associations, annotations)
• AMDP
• Open SQL (HANA optimized queries)
• Strong experience with:
• OData (SEGW / RAP-based services)
• Enhancement techniques (BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements)
• Expertise in performance optimization on SAP HANA
• Experience in integration technologies (IDoc, RFC, Proxy, APIs)
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

Good to Have Skills:

• Experience in SAP Fiori / SAPUI5 development
• Hands-on experience with RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)
• Exposure to SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)
• Experience in S/4HANA system conversion or greenfield implementation
• Knowledge of Clean Core and extensibility models (In-App / Side-by-Side)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and transport management tools

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering or related field
