Job Summary:

Deloitte is seeking a skilled Senior Consultant with 6–9 years of experience in enterprise cloud application development using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), and Cloud Foundry, with a strong focus on CI/CD practices. The role involves designing scalable, cloud-native solutions and leading development on SAP BTP projects across industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop full-stack applications on SAP BTP using CAP, Node.js, and/or Java.
• Deploy and manage applications on SAP BTP – Cloud Foundry runtime.
• Define and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate code integration, testing, and deployment.
• Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems using OData, REST APIs, and event-driven architecture.
• Collaborate with architects, functional consultants, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Ensure application performance, security, and compliance with SAP best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the BTP stack and ensure quality through automated testing.
• Mentor junior developers and lead code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Stay current with SAP BTP roadmap, CAP enhancements, and DevOps tools.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

• 5 – 8 years of overall experience in software development.
• Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience with SAP BTP, CAP, and Cloud Foundry.
• Solid experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Strong knowledge of Node.js or Java, and SAP HANA Cloud.
• Experience with authentication mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT) and SAP Identity services.

Skills:

• Deep understanding of cloud-native development and DevOps lifecycle.
• Strong debugging, performance optimization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
• Ability to lead technical discussions and guide project teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP BTP Extension Developer or similar.
• Experience with Kyma, Event Mesh, or SAP Integration Suite.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, containerization (Docker), or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with agile development practices and Jira/Confluence.
