Job Summary:

Deloitte is looking for a highly skilled Senior Consultant with 6–9 years of experience in modern web development technologies and frameworks. The ideal candidate will lead front-end and full-stack projects, collaborate with UI/UX designers, backend developers, and stakeholders to deliver performant, secure, and scalable web applications across industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop responsive, user-centric web applications using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate RESTful APIs and ensure seamless frontend-backend communication.
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and related technologies.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, performance optimization, and accessibility compliance (WCAG standards).
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce web development best practices and standards.
• Work with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments.
• Manage and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
• Stay updated on emerging web technologies and share innovations with the team.
• Collaborate closely with clients to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

• 5 – 8 years of hands-on web development experience.
• Strong experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and HTTP.
• Experience working with version control systems (Git/GitHub).
• Familiarity with web security principles and responsive design.
• Experience integrating with backend systems or working in a full-stack environment.
• Agile/Scrum project experience.

Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership capabilities and ability to manage small technical teams.
• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and performance-tuning skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Next.js, Node.js, or other server-side technologies.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with automated testing (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Selenium).
• Previous consulting experience or working with cross-functional client-facing teams.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices.
