Senior Consultant

Lead – SAP BTP Platform Architecture & Integration

Location: Pan India

Experience Level: 5–9 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture design, implementation, and governance of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) solutions across complex enterprise landscapes.
• Define and drive integration strategies leveraging SAP BTP Integration Suite, API Management, Event Mesh, and other cloud-native services.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to develop scalable, secure, and performant platform architectures aligned with business goals.
• Architect and oversee end-to-end integration scenarios between SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP BTP tools and middleware.
• Provide technical leadership to development and integration teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
• Evaluate and recommend SAP BTP services and components to optimize solution delivery and platform utilization.
• Lead proof-of-concepts, feasibility studies, and technology assessments related to SAP BTP architecture and integrations.
• Establish governance frameworks for platform usage, security, and compliance in collaboration with IT and security teams.
• Mentor team members and facilitate knowledge sharing on SAP BTP architecture and integration patterns.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform efficiency, scalability, and reliability.

Required Skills:

• 5–9 years of experience in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) architecture and integration.
• Strong expertise with SAP BTP Integration Suite components such as API Management, Cloud Integration, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors.
• Hands-on experience in designing enterprise integration architectures involving SAP and third-party applications.
• Deep knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry).
• Proficiency in API design, management, and security standards (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
• Experience in governance, security, and compliance for cloud platforms.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Relevant SAP certifications in BTP architecture/integration are a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development: Design and develop SAP UI5 applications utilizing the SAP Business Technology Platform for various business scenarios.
• CAP Model Expertise: Implement solutions using the SAP CAP (Cloud Application Programming) Model to build cloud-native applications.
• Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate SAP BTP applications with other systems and services.
• Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting and resolution of application issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Design and Architecture: Participate in the design and architecture discussions to understand business requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Code Quality: Ensure best practices in code quality, architecture, and design patterns to deliver robust and scalable applications.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation to support the developed solutions.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with SAP BTP, UI5, and CAP advancements and apply knowledge to enhance application capabilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Agile methodology.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori design guidelines.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA, OData services, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with front-end testing frameworks and tools.
