Your Work Profile

We are looking for an experienced SAP BW Senior Consultant with 6–9 years of relevant experience to drive SAP Business Warehouse development, data modelling, technical delivery, and application support activities.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in SAP BW, SAP BW on HANA, and BW/4HANA, along with experience in data extraction, data modelling, transformation, reporting, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.

The role involves analyzing business requirements, designing end-to-end data warehouse solutions, developing and enhancing SAP BW objects, managing data flows, optimizing query performance, debugging complex issues, and ensuring high-quality delivery across SAP implementation, rollout, upgrade, migration, and support projects.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in SAP BW, BW on HANA, and SAP BW/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of SAP BW data modelling, data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Experience in BW routines, including Start, End, Field, and Expert Routines.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of SAP HANA database concepts and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Key Skills

• Education – Any Graduate.
• 6–9 years of relevant experience in SAP BW development and implementation.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAP BW 7.x, SAP BW on HANA, and BW/4HANA.
• Expertise in SAP BW data modelling, including InfoObjects, DataSources, DSO, Advanced DSO (ADSO), InfoCubes, MultiProviders, CompositeProviders, and InfoSets.
• Strong experience in developing and maintaining Data Flow objects, including Transformations, DTPs, Process Chains, and Data Transfer processes.
• Hands-on experience in different types of routines, including Start Routines, End Routines, Field Routines, and Expert Routines.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP-based routines, debugging, and troubleshooting in SAP BW.
• Experience in data extraction from SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and non-SAP source systems.
• Good understanding of standard and generic DataSources, LO Cockpit extraction, and ODP-based extraction.
• Experience in developing and maintaining BEx Queries, Query Designer, Workbooks, and reporting solutions.
• Strong knowledge of SAP BW on HANA architecture and HANA-optimized data modelling.
• Experience in CompositeProviders, Open ODS Views, and advanced reporting capabilities.
• Hands-on experience in SAP HANA SQL, SQLScript, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of data loading mechanisms, delta loads, full loads, and data reconciliation.
• Experience in monitoring and managing Process Chains, data load failures, and resolving production issues.
• Perform technical analysis, debugging, root cause analysis, and performance tuning of complex BW objects.
• Experience in optimizing data models, transformations, queries, and data loading performance.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, project managers, and other technical teams to deliver effective data warehouse solutions.
• Drive technical development activities across SAP BW implementation, rollout, upgrade, migration, enhancement, and support projects.
• Take ownership of technical deliverables and ensure timely, high-quality project execution.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior SAP BW developers.
• Participate in technical discussions, provide effort estimations, and communicate development progress, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across SAP BW reporting and data integration solutions.

Good to Have

• Hands-on experience in SAP BW/4HANA implementation and migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA Calculation Views and SQLScript.
•  Experience with SAP HANA Studio and Eclipse-based BW modelling tools
