Job Description – Functional BA (Finance – GSR)

Role: Functional Business Analyst – Finance

Skill: SAP FICO

Focus Area: Finance / GSR

Key Responsibilities:

Strong experience in SAP FICO with a good understanding of core Financial Accounting and Controlling processes.

Experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting finance business requirements and translating them into SAP FICO functional solutions.

Good knowledge of General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO) processes.

Ability to analyze existing finance processes, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements and system solutions.

Experience in working with business stakeholders to understand requirements, define solutions, and support process design and functional discussions.

Good experience in functional testing, UAT coordination, defect analysis, and resolution across SAP Finance processes.

Ability to prepare and maintain business requirements, functional specifications, process documentation, test scenarios, and user guides.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with Finance users, SAP functional teams, technical teams, and project stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
