Your work profile

• Gather and analyze business requirements related to financial closing and period-end activities.
• Configure and support SAP AFC processes for financial close orchestration and automation.
• Design and maintain closing task lists, workflows, dependencies, and approval processes.
• Monitor and manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.
• Integrate SAP AFC with SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAP FICO, and other financial systems.
• Configure close templates, task scheduling, notifications, and escalation procedures.

Key skills required

• Minimum of 8-10+ years of proven project experience in the Area of Finance
•  Expertise in several of the following:
• Understanding of General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cost Centre and Profit Centre Accounting, GL close, month/year end close, closing cockpit, Advanced Financial Close (AFC), close calendar management, period end financial reporting, job parameters for different close tasks.
•  Very good understanding of financial close processes, FI integration with other modules
•  Understanding of IT project management and project delivery methodology, including agile
• Understanding of IT security and compliance
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
