Senior Consultant

Lead – SAP Global Trade Services (GTS)

Location: Pan India

Experience Level: 5–9 years

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end implementation and support of SAP GTS solutions, ensuring alignment with client business processes and compliance requirements.
• Drive the design, configuration, and customization of SAP GTS modules including Customs Management, Compliance Management, Risk Management, and Trade Preference Management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and deliver scalable global trade compliance solutions.
• Provide technical and functional guidance to consultants and developers, overseeing development activities and ensuring best practices in SAP GTS implementations.
• Manage integration of SAP GTS with other SAP modules (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, MM, SD) and third-party systems.
• Lead workshops, client meetings, and status reporting, acting as primary point of contact for SAP GTS-related engagements.
• Oversee testing strategies, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Mentor junior team members, support knowledge transfer, and contribute to team capability building.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, process optimization, and compliance risk mitigation.

Required Skills:

• 5–9 years of strong experience in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) implementations and support.
• Deep understanding of global trade compliance, customs processes, and export/import regulations.
• Hands-on expertise in SAP GTS modules: Customs, Compliance, Risk, and Trade Preference Management.
• Experience integrating SAP GTS with S/4HANA, ECC, and other SAP modules.
• Proven leadership and project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of managing client relationships effectively.
• Experience working in Agile and waterfall project methodologies.
• SAP GTS certification is a plus.
