Your work profile

We are looking for an experienced SAP Advanced Planning Solutions (APS) Senior Consultant to support and deliver supply chain planning transformation and SAP implementation engagements across SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), SAP S/4HANA Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS), and Advanced Available-to-Promise (ATP).

Key skills required

• Experience: 5–8 Years

• Participate in and independently handle assigned work packages across requirements, design, configuration, testing, deployment and stabilization.
• Conduct requirement-gathering and solution design discussions with business stakeholders.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP functional and configuration requirements.
• Configure SAP solutions and prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts and other project deliverables.
• Perform functional and integration testing and support UAT, defect resolution, cutover and hyper care.
• Analyse functional, master data, transactional data and integration issues and drive them toward resolution.
• Support solution leads and Managers in ensuring solution quality and adherence to project standards.

Supply Chain Process Expertise

• Demonstrate good understanding of relevant end-to-end supply chain processes including:
• Demand Planning and Forecasting
• S&OP / Integrated Business Planning
• Supply and Response Planning
• MRP and Production Planning
• Capacity Planning and Detailed Scheduling
• Inventory Planning
• Distribution / Deployment Planning
• Order Confirmation and Fulfilment
• Understand business planning challenges and recommend appropriate SAP solutions based on standard capabilities and leading practices.

Data, Integration & Analytics

• Understand master data and transactional data requirements for the candidate's primary APS solution.
• Support integration design and testing across SAP IBP, S/4HANA, PP/DS, aATP, ECC/APO and relevant external applications.
• Analyse integration and data-related issues and coordinate with technical and integration teams.
• Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud, BW/4HANA or other analytics platforms will be an advantage.

Client & Team Responsibilities

• Independently interact with client business and IT stakeholders for assigned functional areas.
• Prepare and conduct solution walkthroughs, demonstrations and testing sessions.
• Track assigned deliverables, risks, issues and dependencies and communicate them proactively to project leadership.
• Coordinate with functional, technical, integration and data teams.
• Guide and mentor consultants and junior team members on functional and project activities.
• Contribute to project documentation, knowledge repositories and reusable assets.

Business Development & Practice Contribution

• Support RFP/RFI responses, proposals, solution demonstrations and effort estimation.
• Contribute to development of reusable configurations, test assets, demos and industry-specific use cases.
• Stay current with SAP Advanced Planning innovations and emerging supply chain technologies.
• Develop awareness of SAP Business AI/Joule, analytics and AI/ML applications in supply chain planning.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of relevant SAP and/or supply chain experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in at least one of SAP IBP, SAP S/4HANA PP/DS or SAP S/4HANA aATP.
• Good understanding of supply chain planning processes relevant to the candidate's primary skill.
• Strong configuration and functional design capabilities.
• Experience across multiple phases of the SAP implementation lifecycle.
• Preferably at least one end-to-end implementation in the candidate's primary APS solution.
• Ability to independently configure and test assigned solution areas.
• Ability to prepare functional specifications and solution documentation.
• Understanding of integration with SAP S/4HANA/ECC.
