The Project Manager / PMO Analyst will support the Lead PMO in the successful delivery of a strategic SAP ECC to S/4HANA business transformation program. The role will be responsible for project planning, governance, status reporting, risk and issue tracking, budget management, and coordination across business and IT workstreams.

The ideal candidate should possess strong project management fundamentals, hands-on experience in project planning tools, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced international environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Project Planning & Coordination

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management, PMO, or Transformation Program Management, preferably within ERP, SAP, or large-scale business transformation programs.
  • Support the Lead PMO in managing day-to-day project governance activities.
  • Develop, maintain, and track detailed project plans and Gantt charts.
  • Monitor project milestones, dependencies, critical paths, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate activities across business, IT, functional, and technical workstreams.
  • Facilitate project meetings, steering committees, and governance forums.
  • Track and follow up on action items to ensure timely completion.

 

Program Governance & Reporting

  • Prepare weekly and monthly project status reports for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies).
  • Monitor project KPIs and provide visibility on project health.
  • Support preparation of executive-level dashboards and steering committee presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with project governance standards and methodology.

 

Budget & Financial Management

  • Track project budgets, forecasts, actual expenditures, and resource costs.
  • Monitor project financial performance against approved budgets.
  • Support monthly financial reviews and budget reporting.
  • Identify budget variances and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist in vendor invoice tracking and financial reconciliation activities.

 

Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify and track project risks and issues.
  • Facilitate mitigation planning and resolution activities.
  • Escalate critical risks and project deviations when required.

 

Stakeholder Management

  • Collaborate with business leaders, project managers, SAP consultants, vendors, and external partners.
  • Ensure effective communication between project teams and stakeholders.
  • Support change management and project communication activities.

 

Documentation & Quality Assurance

  • Maintain project documentation repositories.
  • Ensure project artifacts are updated and aligned with governance standards.
  • Support audit and compliance requirements related to the transformation program.

 

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in PMO, Project Management, or Program Management roles.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations, SAP projects, or business transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working in multicultural and cross-functional environments.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as:
  • PMI / PMBOK
  • PRINCE2
  • Agile
  • Waterfall
  • Hybrid delivery models
  • Hands-on experience creating and managing detailed Gantt charts using:
  • Microsoft Project
  • Smartsheet
  • Planisware
  • Primavera
  • Excel (advanced)
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with project reporting and dashboard creation.
  • Budget tracking and financial management experience.

 

Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
  • Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology.
  • Experience with project portfolio management (PPM) tools.
  • Understanding of ERP business processes (Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, etc.).
