Job Summary:

Deloitte is looking for an experienced PMO Manager with 10 to 14 years of experience in project governance, delivery oversight, and portfolio management. The PMO Manager will lead and support the execution of complex programs by establishing PMO frameworks, standardizing project practices, driving reporting excellence, and enabling risk and financial controls across initiatives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage the Project Management Office for large-scale programs or portfolios.
  • Define and implement PMO governance structures, templates, and reporting tools.
  • Track and report project performance, progress, milestones, risks, and budgets across multiple initiatives.
  • Collaborate with project managers and delivery leads to ensure adherence to Deloitte’s delivery methodology and quality standards.
  • Facilitate project reviews, steering committee updates, and client status reporting.
  • Manage project documentation, change control, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs, and lessons learned.
  • Own resource forecasting, capacity planning, and budget utilization reporting.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives and provide mentoring to project management staff.
  • Ensure audit readiness and compliance with contractual, regulatory, and organizational policies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders across technology, operations, and business units.


Required Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 10 – 14 years of overall experience with at least 5+ years in a PMO leadership role managing portfolios/programs.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale IT or consulting programs, preferably in client-facing roles.
  • Experience working in Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall environments.


Skills:

  • Expertise in PMO tools and platforms: MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, ServiceNow PPM, or Clarity PPM.
  • Strong financial acumen for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and lead governance in matrixed organizations.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or PMI-ACP certification.
  • Working knowledge of Agile frameworks (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban).
  • Familiarity with cloud transformation, digital enablement, or ERP implementation projects.
  • Prior experience in a Big 4 or similar consulting environment is a plus.
