Job Title:  Senior Consultant | SAP Scrum Master | Bengaluru | SAP

Job Summary:

As a Senior Consultant – Agile Delivery / Scrum Master, you will be responsible for leading Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions by facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and fostering a collaborative and productive Agile environment. You will work closely with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the delivery lifecycle, driving continuous improvement and Agile maturity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, facilitating all Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Remove impediments and obstacles to ensure teams maintain velocity and deliver on commitments.
• Coach and mentor teams and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring clarity and readiness of user stories.
• Drive Agile adoption and maturity across teams and organizations by implementing best practices and Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• Track and report Agile metrics such as velocity, sprint burn-down, and team capacity to stakeholders.
• Facilitate cross-team coordination and Agile Release Train (ART) activities in scaled Agile environments.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through retrospectives and feedback loops.
• Engage with clients to understand their Agile transformation needs and tailor delivery approaches accordingly.
• Contribute to proposal development, pre-sales activities, and Agile workshops.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Agile delivery with at least 3 years as a Scrum Master.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM / PSM) and/or Agile certifications such as SAFe Agilist.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
• Experience coaching and mentoring teams in Agile practices and mindset.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency in Agile tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Rally, or VersionOne.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Experience working in software development, SAP, or enterprise IT environments preferred.

Preferred:

• Advanced Agile certifications (SAFe Program Consultant, ICAgile Certified Professional).
• Experience working in large-scale Agile transformations and Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Prior consulting experience with Big Four or global IT services firms.
• Experience in change management and organizational Agile adoption.
