Your work profile

• Lead SAP Transportation Management (TM) workstreams across implementation, rollout, transformation, and support engagements in SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Conduct business workshops to understand transportation, logistics, freight management, and supply chain requirements and translate them into scalable SAP TM solutions.
• Design and configure SAP TM processes including Freight Order Management, Freight Booking, Transportation Planning, Carrier Selection, Transportation Charges, Charge Settlement, Freight Cost Management, and Transportation Execution.
• Drive transportation network optimization initiatives and provide recommendations to improve logistics efficiency and reduce freight costs.
• Configure and support transportation master data, planning profiles, selection profiles, carrier management, and transportation execution processes.
• Lead integration design and testing between SAP TM and SAP EWM, SAP SD, SAP MM, SAP GTS, SAP Event Management, SAP Business Network for Logistics, and third-party transportation solutions.
• Support carrier onboarding, EDI integration, freight tendering, transportation tracking, and collaboration with logistics service providers.
• Prepare functional specifications and work closely with technical teams for interfaces, reports, forms, enhancements, and custom developments.
• Lead Fit-Gap analysis, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover planning, go-live, and hypercare activities.
• Support SIT, UAT, end-user training, and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless end-to-end Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and logistics execution processes.
• Mentor junior consultants and drive SAP TM best practices, governance, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• 8-12+ years of SAP experience with at least 5+ years of hands-on SAP Transportation Management (TM) consulting experience.
• Proven experience in SAP TM implementation, rollout, and support projects, preferably in SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Strong expertise in Freight Planning, Freight Orders, Freight Bookings, Carrier Selection, Transportation Cockpit, Charge Management, Settlement, and Transportation Execution.
• Experience in transportation network optimization, freight cost management, carrier collaboration, and logistics process transformation.
• Strong knowledge of SAP TM integration with SAP EWM, MM, SD, FI/CO, GTS, and third-party logistics platforms.
• Experience integrating carrier EDI, transportation management platforms, freight payment systems, and logistics tracking solutions.
• Hands-on experience in transportation master data setup, planning profiles, organizational structures, and transportation charge calculations.
• Experience in at least 2-3 end-to-end SAP implementation or transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP Activate methodology, testing cycles, cutover planning, and go-live support.
• Ability to lead client workshops, gather business requirements, and provide strategic transportation and logistics solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management, presentation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience in global transportation operations, multi-modal transportation, and complex supply chain environments is highly desirable.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• SAP Transportation Management (TM) certification is preferred.
• SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain or Logistics certifications will be an added advantage.
• Relevant certifications in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Project Management are desirable.
