As a Senior Consultant in our Consulting team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You’ll:
- Takes responsibility for own work or workstream meeting engagement/project objectives and Deloitte quality standards
- Develop solution using Salesforce configure and customization features.
- Proactively identifies workstream risks and issues; resolves them or escalates to engagement/account leadership
- Identifies opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of key processes within a business function
- Builds knowledge in a sector by contributing to relevant firm initiatives and eminence, and/or by attending sector conferences
- Applies awareness of global trends to address client needs and enhance recommendations
- Understands the impact of emerging technologies on relevant functions and processes
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and execute System Integration Testing (SIT) for Salesforce releases, enhancements, and large-scale deployments.
- Understand business requirements, process flows, and integration points to design SIT scenarios.
- Develop and execute test cases, test data, and integration workflows across Salesforce and external applications.
- Validate integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools (MuleSoft, Informatica, Boomi, etc.), and backend systems.
- Perform data validation using SOQL/SOSL, Workbench, Developer Console, and Salesforce UI.
- Identify, document, and track defects using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Support regression testing cycles and coordinate with developers/analysts for defect resolution.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint grooming, planning, review, and retrospectives.
- Ensure compliance with Salesforce release management and deployment calendar.
Technical Skills & Expertise
- 5–8 years of testing experience, with minimum 2–3 years in Salesforce testing.
- Hands-on testing exposure with:
- Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Platform Apps
- Strong understanding of:
- Lightning Experience (LWC validation), Apex triggers, Flows
- Salesforce security model (Profiles, Permission Sets, Roles)
- Experience in testing integrations using:
- REST/SOAP APIs
- Middleware (MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, SnapLogic)
- Experience using:
- Test management tools (Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, Xray, qTest, PractiTest)
- API testing tools (Postman, SOAP UI)
