Job Description :

Senior CPQ Functional Consultant –

Candidate should have in-depth knowledge of the CPQ products, various modules/accelerators, and the underlying infrastructure setup. The ideal candidate would have done Low level design, feasibility assessment activities on multiple CPQ deployments and can hit the ground running. Candidate should have background as a functional consultant and has prior working knowledge hands on experience in industry leading CPQ products and be able to guide development team on complex implementation challenges. The candidate should also have the ability to think across the application landscape and will drive the integration of the CPQ tools with other applications in the organization’s IT landscape.

Mandatory requirement: The candidate must be certified in at least 1 industry leading CPQ tool (eg: PriceFX/PROS/Vendavo/Congo).

 Key responsibilities:

• Techno functional knowledge to help clients transform and optimize their pricing strategies and quoting experience.
• Lead delivery teams that help clients build and manage customer relationships for optimized sales experience.
• Advise clients on evaluation, selection and implementation of appropriate CPQ tools that is right-fit for existing technology landscape
• Evaluate and resolve complexities pertaining to integration and interfaces between various upstream and downstream systems.
• Ability to guide clients to optimize application performance and scalability
• Train and guide junior team members to develop a CPQ practice within Deloitte India

Technical qualification:

• Hands on experience in different CPQ applications, such as PROS/PriceFX/Vendavo
• Relevant experience of 8-12 years in CPQ sales/delivery
• Must have managed in at least 2-3 complex CPQ implementation programs.
• Working with Business stakeholders and Technical Architects to translate End User Requirements into Functional/Technical Design Specifications
• Design lead should be involved and contribute to impact assessment, Functional feasibility analysis, high level  approach that is required before planning & commitment.
• Leading PoCs (design and execution) by defining the functional parameters and design to meet the business objectives and success criteria.
• Ensure data requirements are accurately documented for implementation of CPQ Solutions by working closely with Data Architects.
• Identify any customization request from low level design perspective, highlight it to business architect and PM.
• Ensure high level code document before every deployment.
• Assist in obtaining final sign off by ensuring necessary impact assessment, release notes validation, connect with Configuration Engineer’s to mitigate all identified gaps.
• Review cut-over plan with the PMs/Product teams.
• Work with product teams to ensure the right outcomes for code scan.
• Triage / drive functional investigation(s) and give inputs for RCA in case of cluster-wide technical issues. Technical and functional experience
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming principles involving Java or Groovy
• Experience with SQL databases and web technologies (HTML, JSON, REST API, etc.)

• Experience in hands on design, prototyping, development, configurations, testing and other implementation activities.
• Experience performing detailed gap analysis and preparing as-is & to-be process documentation.
• Experience preparing end-user documentation and conducting end-user training.
• Experience leading distributed teams to design architecture and requirements for and oversee development of packaged and integrated solutions.
• Ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation and may require collaboration across multiple functional/technical teams.
• Ability to communicate in a clear and concise professional manner, tailored to the appropriate audience, including both verbal and written communications.

• Prior experience in PriceFX, PROS, Vendavo Price Optimization/CPQ platforms will be an added advantage.
