Work you’ll do

 

Lead enterprise cyber strategy engagements including target operating models, maturity assessments, and long-term transformation blueprints

 

The key skills required are as follows:

 

Key Responsibilities

1. Cyber Strategy, AI-Enabled Transformation & Advisory

  • Lead enterprise cyber strategy engagements including target operating models, maturity assessments, and long-term transformation blueprints.
  • Drive AI-enabled cyber strategy, including combining traditional cyber frameworks with LLM-driven controls, automated risk scoring, and AI-led threat detection.
  • Advise CXOs on secure AI adoption, AI governance, model risk management (MRM), and regulatory expectations related to AI.

2. Cyber & AI Transformation Program Leadership

  • Lead multi-workstream cyber and AI transformation programs across global industries.
  • Oversee integration of AI/GenAI-based accelerators, automation platforms, and intelligent risk dashboards.
  • Guide clients on embedding AI within cyber operating models—e.g., automated vulnerability triage, L1/L2 SOC assist, cloud posture automation, and data risk analytics.

 

3. Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to CIO/CISO/CTO/CDO teams on cyber and AI risk.
  • Lead executive presentations explaining complex cyber/AI concepts in business language.
  • Drive proposal development, solutioning, and thought leadership for cyber and AI transformation opportunities.

4. People Leadership

  • Lead, coach, and grow multi-level teams (Analysts to Managers).
  • Build capabilities in cyber strategy, AI-driven cyber tools, and secure AI practices.
  • Support recruitment for cyber strategy and AI-focused roles.

5. Thought Leadership, Innovation & Assets Development

  • Develop frameworks, methodologies, and accelerators on:
  • AI-driven cyber risk models
  • GenAI-enabled governance controls
  • Automated compliance testing
  • AI-powered cyber maturity scoring
  • Contribute to market POVs, publications, and Deloitte’s cyber innovation network.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree (MBA, MS Cyber Security, etc.) preferred.
  • 11+ years of experience in cybersecurity strategy, consulting, or transformation.
  • Strong exposure to:
  • Cyber governance, risk management
  • Security operating models
  • Identity & Access Management
  • Cloud Security Strategy
  • Third-Party Risk Management
  • Data Protection & Privacy
  • Operational Resilience / Cyber Resilience
  • AI & Automation Skills (Mandatory for this role)
  • Understanding of AI/ML concepts as applied to cybersecurity.
  • Experience with one or more:
  • GenAI-enabled governance and controls testing automation
  • AI policy, AI security, LLM risk frameworks
  • Model risk management (MRM) for AI/ML systems
  • AI for SOC modernization, automated triage, or threat intelligence
  • AI-based GRC optimization, automated evidence collection, or process mining
  • Ability to guide clients on Responsible AI, ethical AI use, and secure enterprise LLM adoption.
  • Regulatory & Framework Knowledge
  • Deep understanding of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS, COBIT.
  • Familiarity with emerging AI governance standards (NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act basics, OECD AI principles).

 

 

 

Leadership & Consulting Skills

  • Proven program management experience—cyber or AI transformation.
  • Strong client communication, C-suite engagement, and storytelling ability.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead pursuits, shape solutions, and grow accounts.
  • Big 4 or consulting experience strongly preferred.

 

Preferred Certifications

  • Cyber: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCSP
  • Cloud: AWS/Azure/GCP Security certifications
  • AI/ML:
  • Any recognized AI governance or ML security certifications
  • Courses in Responsible AI, data science fundamentals, or MLOps (preferred, not mandatory)
