Your Work Profile
As a Visual Designer at the Consultant level within Deloitte’s Content COE, you will support internal teams and clients in executing communication, engagement, and learning assets for large‑scale transformation and change projects. In this role, you will contribute to developing high‑quality, execution‑ready visual designs that bring approved strategies to life across multiple channels and support adoption at scale.
· Execute assigned project tasks with guidance from senior team members, contributing to high‑quality delivery aligned with project plans and client requirements.
· Support the translation of approved communication strategies, plans, and creative direction into execution‑ready visual assets.
· Collaborate with Senior Consultants and Managers to deliver design outputs on time and to expected quality standards.
· Contribute to maintaining positive client relationships through reliable delivery and responsiveness during execution phases.
· Identify execution‑related challenges and escalate risks or issues appropriately with guidance from senior team members.
· Support the development of client presentations, proposals, and internal materials where required.
· Actively manage personal development by building execution skills, design capability, and consulting foundations.
· Support day‑to‑day execution of the design plan set forth by the Deloitte Human Capital team lead.
· Provide hands‑on support across deliverables during high‑volume or time‑sensitive phases of delivery.
· Contribute to internal initiatives such as template creation, standardization, and practice‑building activities.
Key Responsibilities
· Support the creation and delivery of high‑quality communication and learning assets for change management, including templated emailers, infographic emailers, newsletters, motion graphic videos, presentations, and related artefacts, aligned to approved briefs, brand guidelines, and timelines.
· Assist in developing visual assets for learning and enablement such as e‑learning visual mock‑ups, WBTs, scenario‑based and game‑based modules, simulations, explainer videos, rich‑media ILTs, interactive PDFs, and UI mock‑ups, based on defined instructional and communication strategies.
· Work with senior team members during delivery phases to clarify requirements, timelines, and design expectations.
· Participate in internal and client review sessions, incorporating feedback into designs under guidance.
· Manage assigned design deliverables with increasing independence, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality.
· Support visual branding, layout, and user experience of deliverables in line with client and Deloitte standards.
· Collaborate with Change Managers, Communication Leads, Content Designers, and Visual Designers to support end‑to‑end delivery.
· Execute visual designs including layouts, illustrations, icons, and motion assets based on provided creative direction and brand frameworks.
· Apply client brand guidelines consistently across deliverables and channels.
· Support design production workflows including quality checks, version control, and handovers.
· Assist with interactive e‑learning and digital asset production on an as‑needed basis.
· Share learnings and execution insights with the team to improve delivery effectiveness.
Skills required
· Strong execution‑oriented design mindset with attention to detail and quality.
· A strong portfolio demonstrating ability to deliver clean, consistent, and production‑ready visual designs across formats and channels.
· Proficiency in communication design tools:
o Adobe Suite – Illustrator, Photoshop
o Motion graphics tools – After Effects, Premiere Pro, Vyond
o E‑learning tools – Storyline 360, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia
o MS PowerPoint and other MS Office tools
o Working knowledge of Adobe XD and Figma is a plus
· Strong visual storytelling, layout, and design execution skills with the ability to work from established concepts and frameworks.
· Good understanding of typography, composition, hierarchy, color theory, and accessibility, with the ability to apply these consistently.
· Ability to collaborate effectively within delivery teams and respond constructively to feedback.
· Clear verbal and written communication skills to clarify requirements and manage delivery expectations.
· Ability to manage time, priorities, and multiple deliverables in fast‑paced project environments.
· Relevant work experience of 3-5 years as a visual designer, graphic designer, digital content creator, or related role, preferably with corporate, consulting, or agency experience.
· Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, mass communication, marketing, digital marketing, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
Location and way of working
· Base location: Mumbai, Gurgaon, or Bangalore.
· Travel: This role may involve occasional-to-frequent travel to client locations depending on delivery needs but does not require extensive travel as a default.
· Way of working: Hybrid is our default way of working, with each domain customizing the approach based on delivery and client requirements.
