Job Description:
We are looking for a positive, proactive, and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to oversee all project operations from inception to execution and to ensure projects are completed on time. The Technical Project Manager is responsible for maintaining budgets, enforcing deadlines, and supervising team members of multiple projects. You will communicate with stakeholders during all phases of the project and close it efficiently. The Tech PM should be able to technically lead/guide a team of various skilled team members, while contributing individually.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Project Management: To lead and oversee the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Technical Expertise: IT background with experience across the systems development life cycle with experience in all project phases – plan, initiate, elaborate, design, build, test, implement including agile methodology.
- Methodologies & Tools: Mastery knowledge and use of industry-standard project methods, tools and techniques e.g., AGILE, Scrum, SAFe etc. Working knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA, ADO , SNOW.
- Cross - Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and content development, to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
- Requirement Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document project requirements, ensuring that they are clearly defined and understood.
- Risk Management: Implement rigorous risk checks at each tracking step, in collaboration with the respective partner. Mitigate risks with stakeholders and escalate when no immediate solution is available.
- Cross-Team Dependencies: Track and allocate cross-Team dependencies to ensure efficient coordination across various teams
- Vendor Management: Experience of working with 3rd party vendors/internal
- Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control processes to ensure the final product meets high standards of quality and performance.
- Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication within the project team, with stakeholders, and with senior management, providing regular updates on project status.
- Continuous Improvement: Clear idea of innovation to Implement and refine project management methodologies and best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Reporting: Generate regular project progress reports and present project status to senior management and stakeholders
Experience:
● 10+ years in a corporate IT environment
● 5+ years of experience in project management
● Relevant experience in a related technical field (application development, deployment/implementation, and infrastructure)
● ● Work experience of managing software development team of 10+ members
● Work experience in defining project KPIs and metrics
● Work experience of the end-to-end project from concept to delivery
Requirements:
● The role will have responsibility to manage multi-technology project.
● Experience working in a multi-skilled engineering environment coordinating Change Requests and Service Requests.
● Experience of managing projects with personal accountability for delivering to time and cost for large and complex projects.
● Mastery of project management methodology, tools and templates (includes program/project planning, schedule development, scope management and cost management)
● Track record of customer focus, based on openness, trust, and delivering on promises.
● Ability to work highly matrixed, multi-functional IT organization
● Experience of working with 3rd party vendors/internal IT team to implement cloud technologies
● Management skills to manage one or more large, complex projects simultaneously
● IT background with experience across the systems development life cycle with experience in all project phases – plan, initiate, elaborate, design, build, test, implement including agile methodology.
● Mastery knowledge and use of industry-standard project methods, tools and techniques e.g.AGILE , Scrum, etc. Working knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA
● Preferred experience of delivering multiple enterprise-scale technology projects in any Tech stack, Cloud , Microservices and Devops.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills (include negotiation)
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing. Leader in the use of IT methodologies, processes, and standards for project management
