Social listening & digital analytics

 

About the Job:

We are seeking a seasoned social media analytics consultant with detailed experience in social media strategy, analytics, and data-driven optimization. This role goes beyond execution, it focuses on designing measurement frameworks, researching consumer behaviour, and delivering insights that influence brand positioning, campaign effectiveness, and business growth. As a consultant, you will act as the bridge between data, content, and strategy, guiding both internal teams and client stakeholders on how to maximise ROI from social media investment.

 

Responsibilities:

Social listening

  • Develop and implement social listening frameworks to track brand mentions, sentiment, and consumer conversations across channels
  • Monitor cultural, competitive, and industry trends to provide early-warning signals and opportunity mapping
  • Lead consumer behaviour research using digital and social data to uncover audience needs, motivations, and pain points
  • Leverage tools like Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Meltwater, Sprinklr for advanced listening and reporting

 

Social media strategy & consulting

  • Develop and implement social media measurement frameworks aligned with business objectives across channels
  • Support with digital performance, campaign effectiveness, and future roadmap
  • Build social media analytics models that tie directly to customer journey and business outcomes (leads, sales, awareness, reputation)
  • Create social listening and sentiment analysis frameworks to inform brand strategy

Advanced analytics & insights

  • Drive advanced reporting beyond vanity metrics, including attribution modelling, cohort analysis, and ROI measurement
  • Build dashboards (Power BI/Tableau/Google Data Studio) for real-time visibility
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses on campaigns, competitor performance, and market trends and translate complex data into actionable recommendations

Content & performance optimization

  • Partner with varied teams to optimize performance across channels
  • Guide experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, multivariate testing, creative heat-mapping)
  • Define KPIs for different content types (thought leadership, product launches, employer branding, etc.)
  • Identify content opportunities based on audience behaviour and sentiment analysis

Campaign leadership & governance

  • Provide end-to-end campaign consulting, from planning to execution review
  • Set up governance models for publishing, monitoring, and crisis management
  • Establish best practices for organic and paid performance integration
  • Align social media analytics with overall digital ecosystem (SEO, paid ads, CRM, website traffic)

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in social media analytics, digital strategy
  • Proven expertise in analysing social media data and connecting it to business outcomes
  • Proficiency in analytics platforms (Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, Sprout Social, Brandwatch, Talkwalker, Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Strong understanding of organic + paid social integration, attribution models, and ROI frameworks
  • Experience in managing large-scale campaigns across geographies and industries
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, able to translate numbers into narratives
