Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design and development of Adobe Commerce solutions across modules and integrations
- Drive technical discussions and provide solutions aligned with best practices
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance architectures (headless / composable)
- Own complex integrations with ERP, OMS, payment gateways, and third-party systems
- Review code, mentor junior developers, and ensure quality standards
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and stakeholders
- Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimization strategies
- Ensure adherence to security, scalability, and maintainability standards
Required Skills:
- 5–10+ years of experience in Adobe Commerce / Magento 2
- Strong expertise in:
- Magento 2 architecture and customization
- PHP, MySQL, and design patterns
- Hands-on experience with:
- API integrations (REST, GraphQL)
- Headless architecture (React, PWA, AEM)
- Strong experience with:
- API Mesh and App Builder (must-have)
- Middleware and composable architecture
- Deployment strategy
- Performance optimization
- Caching mechanisms (Redis, CDN, Varnish)
- Strong understanding of:
- Adobe Commerce Cloud / PaaS environment
- DevOps practices (CI/CD, Git workflows)
- Proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Cursor AI to enhance productivity and code quality
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Exposure to B2B Commerce features
- Adobe Commerce certifications
- Knowledge of Adobe Commerce SAAS Architecture
