Your work profile.

Position Overview

We are seeking an industry‑seasoned Power Pages Architecture Lead to own the end‑to‑end technical vision, design, and delivery of enterprise‑grade Power Pages portals and their integration into broader Microsoft Power Platform and Azure ecosystems. The role requires a deep mastery of portal architecture, security, performance, and governance, as well as the ability to mentor senior architects and influence strategic decisions for large, complex, and highly regulated organizations.

 

Core Responsibilities

 

Responsibility

1 Define Enterprise Architecture – Create and maintain a holistic architecture framework for Power Pages solutions, covering data model (Dataverse), authentication (Azure AD, Azure AD B2C, external IdPs), integration patterns, scalability, availability, and disaster‑recovery across global regions.

2 Strategic Roadmap – Shape the long‑term technology roadmap for Power Pages within the organization, aligning with Microsoft’s product roadmap, emerging Azure services, and corporate digital transformation goals.

3 Technical Governance – Establish and enforce architecture standards, security baselines, compliance checklists (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001), and ALM policies. Conduct regular architecture review boards and audit compliance.

4 Solution Design Leadership – Lead the design of complex portal solutions that incorporate multi‑tenant data segregation, role‑based access control, advanced customizations (Liquid, JavaScript/TypeScript, custom web APIs), and seamless integration with Dynamics 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and third‑party systems.

5 Performance & Optimization – Define performance‑engineering practices (caching, CDN, lazy loading, query optimization) and set SLAs for page load times, uptime, and transaction throughput. Conduct capacity planning and load‑testing for global deployments.

6 Integration Architecture – Design robust integration layers using Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, and custom connectors; ensure secure data exchange and idempotent processing.

7 Mentorship & Team Development – Coach senior architects and technical leads, foster a knowledge‑sharing culture, and develop competency frameworks for Power Pages expertise across the practice.

8 Pre‑Sales & Client Engagement – Partner with sales leadership to craft winning technical proposals, high‑impact solution demos, effort estimates, and ROI models for large‑scale portal contracts.

9 Innovation & Thought Leadership – Champion adoption of new Power Pages capabilities (e.g., Copilot, AI Builder, low‑code UI components), conduct proof‑of‑concepts, and publish architectural guidance documents and whitepapers.

10 Risk Management – Identify architectural risks (security, compliance, vendor lock‑in), develop mitigation strategies, and maintain an up‑to‑date risk register for all portal programs.

11 Financial Stewardship – Own budgeting for portal architecture initiatives, evaluate cost‑benefit of Azure consumption, and drive cost‑optimization while maintaining required performance and security levels.

15 + years designing, building, and governing large‑scale Power Pages portals (multi‑tenant, multi‑region, high‑traffic).

Solution Architecture

Proven ability to design end‑to‑end portal architectures, data models, security models, and integration strategies for enterprise customers.

Web Development

Expert‑level knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, Liquid templating, and responsive design.

Security & Compliance

Deep expertise in Azure AD, Azure AD B2C, OAuth2/OpenID Connect, role‑based security, DLP, and industry‑specific compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).

Azure Integration Services

Extensive experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, and Azure Key Vault for secure portal integrations.

ALM & CI/CD

Mastery of solution packaging, managed/unmanaged solutions, Azure DevOps/GitHub pipelines, Power Platform Build Tools, and automated testing frameworks.

Performance Engineering

Ability to define and implement caching, CDN, load‑balancing, and query‑optimization techniques; experience with performance monitoring (Azure Monitor, Application Insights).

Enterprise Governance

Design and enforce architecture governance models, standards documentation, and audit processes at scale.

Leadership & Mentoring

Track record of leading senior technical teams, conducting architecture workshops, and building competency centers.

Pre‑Sales & Stakeholder Management

Strong presentation and proposal skills; comfortable interacting with C‑level executives and business sponsors.

Certifications (preferred)

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

• Azure Security Engineer Associate

Agile & Program Management

Experience with SAFe, Scrum of Scrums, and large program governance; proficient with Azure Boards/Jira.

Nice‑to‑Have

  • Hands‑on development of custom Power Pages widgets using modern front‑end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
  • Experience with Power BI embedded, Power Virtual Agents, or AI Builder to deliver intelligent portal experiences.
  • Proven delivery of global multi‑language, multi‑currency portal solutions for regulated industries (financial services, healthcare, public sector).
  • Active contribution to the Microsoft Power Platform community (MVP, conference speaker, white‑paper author).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep) for provisioning Azure resources that support portal workloads.
