Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior iOS Consultant to lead the design, development, and delivery of high‑quality iOS applications. The role involves end‑to‑end ownership of app modules, architectural reviews, mentoring junior developers, and close collaboration with cross‑functional teams to drive mobile innovation for enterprise‑grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and delivery of native iOS applications for iPhone and iPad.
- Own and drive the technical implementation of new features and enhancements.
- Review code, provide technical guidance, and enforce best‑practice standards.
- Partner with solution architects and backend teams to define scalable app architecture and API contracts.
- Optimize app performance, memory usage, and responsiveness across device generations.
- Lead release planning, TestFlight distribution, App Store submission, and production support activities.
- Conduct POCs for emerging iOS tools, frameworks, and SDKs (e.g., SwiftUI, Combine, CoreML).
- Mentor and coach junior developers, ensuring code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate with QA, UI/UX, and product teams for smooth end‑to‑end delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
- 6–8 years of mobile app development, with ≥ 3 years focused on native iOS.
- Strong proficiency in Swift (including Swift 5+, SwiftUI) and Objective‑C.
- Deep understanding of iOS app architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, VIPER) and state‑management solutions.
- Expertise with UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine, and related Apple frameworks.
- Experience with native modules, bridging, and integration of complex APIs (e.g., payment, biometric).
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, TestFlight, and App Store deployment.
- Proven track record in performance optimization, analytics integration, and crash/error monitoring tools (e.g., Crashlytics, Sentry).
- Ability to troubleshoot production issues and lead root‑cause analysis for app crashes.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with SwiftUI and Combine (Apple’s modern UI and reactive frameworks).
- Exposure to iOS security best practices, accessibility standards, and compliance (App Store guidelines).
- Familiarity with watchOS, tvOS, or macOS extensions for broader ecosystem integration.
- Prior experience working in banking, fintech, or other enterprise‑grade mobile application environments.
