Embed cyber risk at the start of strategy development for more effective management of information and technology risks
Your work profile
- Cyber Strategy Support: Assist in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
- ISMS Implementation: Support the implementation and maintenance of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) based on ISO 27001 and other industry standards.
- IS Audit: Participate in internal and external information security audits, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and standards.
- Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM): Conduct vendor risk assessments and support ongoing monitoring of third-party security posture.
- Risk Assessment: Assist in performing risk assessments and gap analysis for cybersecurity controls and compliance frameworks.
- Cyber Maturity Assessment: Support execution of cyber maturity assessments to evaluate organizational security posture against industry benchmarks such as NIST CSF
- Policy and Procedure Review: Help identify gaps and recommend improvements in security policies, processes, and procedures.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on risk findings, audit observations, and recommended compensating controls.
- Compliance Monitoring: Support monitoring activities for regulatory compliance, including data protection and privacy requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cybersecurity Fundamentals: Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and risk management concepts.
- Standards and Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 27001 and other industry standards.
- Audit Skills: Ability to assist in IT audits and compliance checks.
- TPRM understanding: Understanding of third-party/vendor risk management process.
- Risk Analysis: Ability to perform basic risk assessments and identify control gaps.
- Regulatory Awareness: Knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, DPDPA).
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication for reporting and stakeholder interaction.
- Documentation Skills: Proficiency in preparing structured reports and presentations.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse processes and suggest improvements.
- Team Collaboration: Willingness to work in cross-functional teams and global environments.
