Embed cyber risk at the start of strategy development for more effective management of information and technology risks

Your work profile

• Cyber Strategy Support: Assist in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies aligned with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
• ISMS Implementation: Support the implementation and maintenance of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) based on ISO 27001 and other industry standards.
• IS Audit: Participate in internal and external information security audits, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks and standards.
• Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM): Conduct vendor risk assessments and support ongoing monitoring of third-party security posture.
• Risk Assessment: Assist in performing risk assessments and gap analysis for cybersecurity controls and compliance frameworks.
• Cyber Maturity Assessment: Support execution of cyber maturity assessments to evaluate organizational security posture against industry benchmarks such as NIST CSF
• Policy and Procedure Review: Help identify gaps and recommend improvements in security policies, processes, and procedures.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed reports on risk findings, audit observations, and recommended compensating controls.
• Compliance Monitoring: Support monitoring activities for regulatory compliance, including data protection and privacy requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cybersecurity Fundamentals: Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and risk management concepts.
• Standards and Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with ISO 27001 and other industry standards.
• Audit Skills: Ability to assist in IT audits and compliance checks.
• TPRM understanding: Understanding of third-party/vendor risk management process.
• Risk Analysis: Ability to perform basic risk assessments and identify control gaps.
• Regulatory Awareness: Knowledge of data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, DPDPA).
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication for reporting and stakeholder interaction.
• Documentation Skills: Proficiency in preparing structured reports and presentations.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyse processes and suggest improvements.
• Team Collaboration: Willingness to work in cross-functional teams and global environments.

• CISA
• CISM
