Your work profile

As a member of our Cyber Defence and Resilience team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with internal teams and external clients, always aiming to exceed client expectations. We are seeking a motivated and experienced consultant to join our growing Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery (BCP/DR) practice in India.

In this role you will work on diverse client engagements, helping organisations design, implement, maintain and test robust Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS) and IT Disaster Recovery strategies. Your responsibilities will now also include leveraging Microsoft Azure’s native DR capabilities-such as Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup, Azure SQL Geo‑Replication IaC‑driven DR solutions that align with international standards like ISO 22301 or ISO27001

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Delivery (Enhanced for BCP, IT DR & Backup - Azure Cloud)
• Engage on End‑to‑End BCP/DR Projects – Partner with clients across industries to design, implement and continuously improve Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery solutions that leverage Azure’s native capabilities.
• Perform Business Impact Analyses (BIA) & Risk Assessments (RA) – Identify critical applications, data flows and dependencies, map them to Azure resources (VMs, AKS clusters, Azure SQL, Storage accounts, etc.), and evaluate threat scenarios specific to cloud and hybrid environments.
• Understanding of Azure/AWS/GCP‑Centric DR Strategies – Produce comprehensive plans (Business Continuity Plans, IT Disaster Recovery Plans, Crisis Management Plans) that incorporate:
• Azure Site Recovery (ASR) for automated replication, fail‑over and fail‑back of VMs.
• Azure Backup with Recovery Services vaults for workloads such as Azure SQL, Azure VM, SharePoint Online and on‑premises servers.
• Azure SQL Geo‑Replication to meet RPO/RTO targets.
• Implement– Guide clients in establishing a BCM program that satisfies ISO 22301/NIST/ISO27001 requirements, embedding Azure governance (Azure Blueprints, Azure Security Center) and continuous improvement processes.
• Plan, Execute & Report DR Tests – Lead tabletop exercises, simulations and technical DR drills On-Cloud/On-prem, Hybrid environment (e.g., ASR fail‑over tests, backup restore validations and On-Prem to On-prem). Capture results, provide gap analyses and recommend remediation actions.
• Manage specific workstreams within larger projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Prepare project deliverables, reports, and presentations for client stakeholders.
• Support senior team members in client relationship management and project planning.
• Contribute to the development of methodologies, tools, and thought leadership within the BCP/DR practice.
• Support business development activities, including proposal writing and client presentations.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging threats, and regulatory requirements related to business resilience.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience: Professional Experience: 5-7 years of hands‑on experience in IT Disaster Recovery (DR), Business continuity Management(BCP) & Crisis Management. Prior work in a consulting environment is strongly preferred. Cyber Vaulting & Cyber Recovery Programs (Enablement of MVC/MVS) along with Strong Stakeholder Management & Communication Skills.
• Core Cloud Competency: Knowledge/understanding of Microsoft Azure’s DR services - including Azure Site Recovery, Azure Backup and Azure Policy/Blueprints.
• DR & Backup tools : Working familiarity and understanding of DRaaS(Azure), Commvault/Metallic, Veam or Rubrik or Dhurva etc. Understanding of RTO, RPO, BIA as per ISO 22301/27001/NIST/DORA framework
• DR & Backup Plan: Proficiency in creating DR/Backup Plans, Runbooks, Assessing DR and Backup environment.
• Testing & Validation: Experience planning, executing and reporting on technical DR drills, fail‑over simulations, and tabletop exercises across cloud/On-Prem and hybrid environments.
• Communication & Client Management: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of delivering clear DR documentation, run‑books and client‑facing presentations.
• Presentation: RFP Response Management & Proposal Development. Executive Deck preparation & Client presentation
• Certification: AZ-305, Commvault or Rubrik or Veeam. ISO 22301/ISO27001 à Good to have
• Solid understanding of BCM/DR lifecycle, methodologies, and concepts (BIA, RA, Strategy Development, Plan Development, Testing, Maintenance, Risk Assessment, GAP assessment).
• Experience in developing DR Plans.
• Good understanding of BCP Framework/DR testing methodologies.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. (BCA, BBA, B.COM, BTech, MTech, MCA, MSC IT, PG Degree)
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Client Facing Skills: Proven ability to interact professionally with client stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience with IT Disaster Recovery technologies and strategies (e.g., Cyber Vaulting & Cyber Recovery Programs (Enablement of MVC), Data Protection & Recovery Strategies)
• Experience working with clients in specific industries (e.g., Banking & Financial Services, Technology, Manufacturing).
• Familiarity with relevant Indian regulatory requirements (e.g., RBI, SEBI guidelines on BCP/DR).
