Your work profile

• We are seeking an IAM Automation Engineer to develop automation frameworks and tooling to accelerate the migration of enterprise applications from CA SiteMinder (agent-based authentication) to Microsoft Entra ID or ForgeRock Access Management (AM) using ForgeRock Identity Gateway (IG). The role focuses on automating application discovery, configuration generation, testing, validation, deployment, and migration activities to enable large-scale application onboarding with minimal manual effort.
• Develop automation solutions to support migration of applications from CA SiteMinder to Microsoft Entra ID or ForgeRock AM.
• Build scripts and tools to discover SiteMinder web agent configurations, authentication schemes, policies, and protected resources.
• Automate generation of application onboarding artifacts, migration templates, and configuration files.
• Develop automation for ForgeRock AM and IG configuration using REST APIs and Infrastructure-as-Code approaches.
• Automate deployment, configuration, and promotion across Development, UAT, and Production environments.
• Build automated validation for SSO, MFA, federation, session management, and authorization flows.
• Develop regression and smoke test suites for migrated applications.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines for IAM deployments and configuration management.
• Automate certificate lifecycle, configuration validation, health checks, and environment verification.
• Develop dashboards and reporting for migration progress, onboarding status, and deployment success.
• Collaborate with IAM engineers, application teams, and DevOps teams to improve migration efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Prepare reusable automation frameworks, documentation, and operational runbooks.

Key skills required: 

• 4–8 years of experience in automation, DevOps, or IAM engineering.
• Strong programming skills in one or more of:
• Python
• Java
• PowerShell
• Shell Scripting
• Experience consuming REST APIs and working with JSON/XML.
• Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
• Experience automating deployments and configuration management.
• SAML 2.0
• OAuth 2.0
• OpenID Connect (OIDC)
• JWT
• LDAP
• Experience with Linux administration and web servers (Apache, IIS, NGINX, Tomcat).
• Experience developing automated test frameworks for web applications and APIs.
• B.Tech/M.Tech  Information technology, Computer Science or relevant degree
