Your Work Profile

• Assess and secure telecom network components including Core, RAN, Transport, IMS, and Edge networks.
• Monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents affecting telecom infrastructure.
• Implement security controls for 4G LTE, 5G, VoIP, IMS, and signaling protocols.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of telecom environments.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity monitoring and incident response procedures.
• Investigate security events using SIEM, IDS/IPS, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend remediation actions.
• Support Security Operations Center (SOC) activities and threat hunting initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with GSMA, 3GPP, NIST, ISO 27001, and regulatory requirements
• Support security audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Develop security policies, standards, and operational procedures
• Identify and assess cybersecurity risks across telecom systems and services.
• Conduct security reviews for new network deployments and technology upgrades.
• Recommend mitigation strategies for identified risks and vulnerabilities.
• Secure cloud-native telecom applications and virtualized network functions (VNFs/CNFs).
• Implement security controls for Open RAN, MEC, SDN, and NFV environments.
• Evaluate security architecture for 5G standalone and non-standalone deployments.
• Coordinate with network engineering, IT, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance on cybersecurity best practices.
• Support cybersecurity awareness initiatives within telecom operations teams.

Key Skills Required

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, telecommunications, or network security.
• Strong understanding of telecom network architecture and protocols.
• Experience with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management tools.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, Diameter, SS7, SIP, GTP, DNS, and LTE/5G protocols.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies.
• Preferred Certifications CISSP/ CISM/ CEH/ CompTIA Security+/ CCNP Security / CCIE Security/ GSMA Security Certifications/ (CCSP)
