Deloitte is working with global customers on cloud technologies to help them spot unseen business trends, transform, and curate data to find meaningful insights, and so on. Due to continued expansion, we’re searching for like-minded individuals to help us ‘take it to the next level’.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing data ingestion and transformation pipelines for large-scale organizations. We are seeking someone with deep technical skills in a variety of technologies to play an important role in developing and delivering early proofs of concept and production implementation.

As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements. 

Work you’ll do:

Apply industry knowledge to requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring alignment with sector needs. Demonstrate expertise across the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to deployment and defect resolution, collaborating with stakeholders for effective delivery. Conduct peer and team reviews to maintain quality standards. Actively engage in Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation. Build and share business process knowledge, supporting project knowledge management and team training. Proactively recommend process improvements, track efficiency gains, and contribute to automation and innovation, all aimed at enhancing project outcomes and delivering greater value to clients.

We transform engineering teams, modernize technology, and deliver complex programs with a product engineering approach. Our flexible delivery models—traditional teams, pools, or pods—are tailored to each client’s needs, offering engineering-led advisory, implementation, and operational capabilities to accelerate innovation.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement AWS Landing Zones and multi-account architecture.
  • Provision and manage AWS resources using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible.
  • Configure auto-scaling, auto-provisioning, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Implement network architecture including VPC, subnets, routing, security groups, and NACLs.
  • Manage IAM roles, policies, and security best practices for compliance.
  • Set up monitoring and observability using CloudWatch and third-party tools (Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk).
  • Ensure backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure planning and optimization.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
  • Expertise in AWS networking, IAM, VPC design, and security configurations.
  • Experience with multi-account AWS environments and governance frameworks.
  • Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python, PowerShell) for automation.
  • Familiarity with AWS Cloud Native Services (EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, CloudWatch).
  • Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Dynatrace).
  • Strong understanding of security and compliance in AWS environments.

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in AWS Infrastructure roles.
  • AWS Certifications:
    • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional
    • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
  • Exposure to cost optimization and performance tuning.
  • Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
