The team
Deloitte is working with global customers on cloud technologies to help them spot unseen business trends, transform, and curate data to find meaningful insights, and so on. Due to continued expansion, we’re searching for like-minded individuals to help us ‘take it to the next level’.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing data ingestion and transformation pipelines for large-scale organizations. We are seeking someone with deep technical skills in a variety of technologies to play an important role in developing and delivering early proofs of concept and production implementation.

You will get good experience in building solutions using a variety of open-source tools on a cloud platform and a proven track record in delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines.

Senior Consultant – Cloud Strategy & Engineering

Experience: 6–9 years

Role Summary: Lead workstreams within cloud strategy and transformation programs. Own deliverables and guide junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Advisory

• Lead cloud readiness assessments and develop migration roadmaps.
• Build TCO models and business cases for cloud adoption, repatriation, or hybrid strategies.
• Design cloud governance frameworks tailored to client maturity and regulatory needs.
• Develop FinOps strategies including tagging policies, chargeback models, and optimization levers.
• Contribute to containerization and modernization strategy including platform selection and refactoring approaches.

Technical

• Proficiency in AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP; multi-cloud exposure is a plus.
• Strong experience in cloud advisory and architecture.
• Exposure to cloud-native design patterns and modernization approaches.

Cloud Provider Alignment

• Proficiency in AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP.

Certifications

• Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect – Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Any specialty certification (Big Data, Networking, Security, DevOps, etc.)

Industry Exposure

• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., BFSI, pharma) with compliance-aware cloud designs.

Consultant – Cloud Strategy & Engineering

Experience: 2–5 years

Role Summary: Execute components of cloud strategy, assessment, and migration planning engagements. Deliver client-ready outputs with increasing autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Advisory

• Conduct application and infrastructure assessments using structured frameworks.
• Support cloud migration planning, architecture documentation, and cloud repatriation analysis.
• Assist in developing cloud governance models and FinOps recommendations.
• Contribute to modernization strategy including containerization and refactoring options.
• Analyze cloud spend and usage data to identify optimization opportunities.

Technical

• Hands-on experience with one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP).
• Understanding of cloud-native services and pricing models.
• Exposure to cloud migration tools and automation frameworks.

Cloud Provider Alignment

• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP.

Certifications

• Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect – Associate or Azure Administrator are preferred.

Industry Exposure

• Exposure to industry-specific cloud use cases (e.g., BFSI, healthcare, manufacturing).

Analyst – Cloud Strategy & Engineering

Experience: Entry-level (0–2 years)

Role Summary: Support cloud strategy and engineering teams with foundational research, analysis, and documentation. Learn and apply core concepts across cloud platforms and advisory engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic & Advisory

• Assist in data gathering for cloud assessments (applications, infrastructure, databases).
• Support TCO modeling and business case development under guidance.
• Conduct research on cloud trends, pricing models, and provider capabilities.
• Help prepare client deliverables including presentations, reports, and dashboards.
• Learn and apply basic concepts of cloud governance, FinOps, and migration planning.
• Shadow senior consultants in client workshops and internal reviews.

Technical

• Support analysis of cloud environments and infrastructure components.
• Assist in documenting cloud architecture and migration plans.
• Learn scripting and automation basics for cloud operations.

Cloud Provider Alignment

• Exposure to AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP fundamentals.

Certifications

• AWS Cloud Practitioner
• Azure Fundamentals
