Deloitte is working with global customers on cloud technologies to help them spot unseen business trends, transform, and curate data to find meaningful insights, and so on. Due to continued expansion, we’re searching for like-minded individuals to help us ‘take it to the next level’.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing data ingestion and transformation pipelines for large-scale organizations. We are seeking someone with deep technical skills in a variety of technologies to play an important role in developing and delivering early proofs of concept and production implementation.

You will get good experience in building solutions using a variety of open-source tools on a cloud platform and a proven track record in delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines.

Scope of Work & Required Skills

• Experience Required:
• 8+ years in IT infrastructure and cloud technologies
• 3+ years managing hybrid cloud environments with cloud migration experience
• Hybrid Cloud Architecture & Integration
• Design resilient, secure hybrid architectures with seamless integration between cloud and on-prem systems
• Implement hybrid connectivity using AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, OCI FastConnect, VPN tunnels, etc.
• Configure hybrid identity and storage synchronization across environments
• On-Prem Data Center Operations
• Manage physical infrastructure including servers, network gear, SAN/NAS, and hypervisors (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Perform hardware lifecycle management, capacity planning, and disaster recovery drills
• Administer VLANs, firewalls, routing, and IP management within the data center
• Data Center to Cloud Migration
• Plan and execute end-to-end data center migration strategies
• Use tools like Azure Migrate, AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), Velostrata, CloudEndure, or OCI Migration Tools
• Perform application discovery, dependency mapping, and wave-based migrations
• Migrate virtual machines, databases, storage, and applications to public cloud environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve latency, performance, and compatibility issues during and post-migration
• Infrastructure Automation & Monitoring
• Automate provisioning and patching using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, or Bash
• Implement monitoring and alerting using Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, etc.
• Streamline infrastructure as code (IaC) practices in both cloud and on-prem platforms
• Security, Compliance & Governance
• Apply consistent security controls, encryption, and IAM policies across cloud and on-prem
• Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
• Audit infrastructure configurations and logs for security and policy violations
• Collaboration & Documentation
• Work closely with DevOps, security, and application teams on hybrid infrastructure needs
• Maintain architectural runbooks, migration plans, SOPs, and disaster recovery documentation
• Serve as a technical advisor in modernization and digital transformation projects
• Required Skills
• Deep understanding of on-prem systems (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, SAN/NAS, BGP/MPLS networks)
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI platforms
• Practical expertise in data center migration tools and methodologies
• Scripting with PowerShell, Bash, or Python
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and performance tuning capabilities
• Preferred Certifications
• Cloud Certifications (any of the following):
• AWS Solutions Architect
• Azure Architect Expert
• Google Cloud Architect
• OCI Architect Professional
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
