The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing data ingestion and transformation pipelines for large-scale organizations. We are seeking someone with deep technical skills in a variety of technologies to play an important role in developing and delivering early proofs of concept and production implementation.

You will get good experience in building solutions using a variety of open-source tools on a cloud platform and a proven track record in delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines.

 

OpenShift ADMIN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate OpenShift Admin to join our growing team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for driving our OpenShift adoption and utilization, providing expert guidance and leadership to internal teams. You will leverage your deep understanding of OpenShift architecture, best practices, and security to design, deploy, and manage containerized applications at scale.

 

Skills:

  • OpenShift Architecture & Design
    • Design and implement secure, scalable, and highly available OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) environments based on business needs
    • Recommend best practices for OpenShift resource organization, node sizing, cluster topology, and multi-cluster setups
    • Architect hybrid and cloud-native OpenShift solutions, including ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS) and ARO
  • Cluster Deployment & Management
    • Deploy and manage OpenShift clusters using oc CLI, OpenShift Web Console, and Automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform
    • Perform version upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of control plane and worker nodes
    • Configure projects, namespaces, quotas, limits, and enforce multi-tenancy policies
  • OpenShift Platform Operations
    • Manage OpenShift components such as Operators, MachineSets, BuildConfigs, DeploymentConfigs, ImageStreams, and Routes
    • Maintain and troubleshoot internal routing, cluster networking, and service exposure via Ingress Controllers and Routes
    • Implement and monitor OpenShift-native logging and metrics (Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana, EFK stack)
  • Security & Governance
    • Enforce security standards using Security Context Constraints (SCCs), Pod Security Admission (PSA), and RBAC
    • Integrate authentication with enterprise identity providers (LDAP, SAML, OAuth) and manage group-based access control
    • Conduct regular compliance checks and apply security patches based on Red Hat advisories
  • Storage, Networking & Add-ons
    • Configure persistent storage using OpenShift Container Storage (OCS) or cloud CSI drivers
    • Manage OpenShift SDN/OVN-Kubernetes, cluster network policies, and service exposure
    • Integrate with Red Hat-provided services like OpenShift Pipelines, GitOps, Service Mesh, and Quay
  • Troubleshooting & Optimization
    • Investigate and resolve cluster-level and workload-related issues in pods, nodes, routes, or operators
    • Tune platform resource usage and optimize cluster performance using native OpenShift tools
    • Review audit logs and event traces for issue diagnosis
  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing
    • Provide operational support and guidance to developers and platform users working in OpenShift
    • Conduct onboarding sessions and workshops on OpenShift usage, security, and troubleshooting
    • Document standard operating procedures and contribute to platform knowledge base
  • Preferred Experience:
    • Hands-on experience with any one of cloud-based OpenShift platforms:
      • ROSA (Red Hat OpenShift Service on AWS)
      • ARO (Azure Red Hat OpenShift)
      • OpenShift on Google Cloud with Anthos
    • Red Hat certifications such as:
      • Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration
      • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
    • Familiarity with OpenShift add-ons: Pipelines, GitOps, Service Mesh, and Quay

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ of years of experience working with OpenShift.
  • Proven experience with core OpenShift features and functionality.
  • Understanding of containerization concepts and technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator (ROSA) or equivalent expertise.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP for hosting OpenShift.
  • Experience with GitOps for managing OpenShift configurations.
  • Managing logs, Alerts, and Audit compliance report.
  • Billing and cost management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
