Job Description: 

We are looking for a talented and motivated Junior AWS Data Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in data engineering and cloud computing, with hands-on experience in AWS services. As a Junior AWS Data Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers and other stakeholders to build and maintain our data infrastructure. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS services such as Glue, Iceberg, Redshift, S3, Lambda, and EMR. 
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other team members to understand data requirements and deliver effective data solutions. 
• Support the optimization and tuning of data pipelines for performance and cost-efficiency. 
• Implement data security best practices and ensure compliance with data governance policies. 
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, providing timely resolutions. 
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of data engineering practices. 
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering and AWS technologies. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• 3 to 6 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on AWS services. 
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling and database design. 
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda, and EMR. 
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. 
• Basic understanding of big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka is a plus. 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Good communication and collaboration skills. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• AWS Certified Developer – Associate or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification. 
• Knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts.
