Job Description: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AWS Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, cloud computing, and a proven track record of working with AWS services. As a Senior AWS Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure to support various business needs. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS services such as Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda, and EMR. 
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions. 
• Optimize and tune data pipelines for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency. 
• Implement data security best practices and ensure compliance with data governance policies. 
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal downtime. 
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior data engineers. 
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering and AWS technologies. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• 6 to 9 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on AWS services. 
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling and database design. 
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as Glue, Iceberg, Redshift, S3, Lambda, EMR, and IAM. 
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala. 
• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka is a plus. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• AWS Certified Data Analytics – Specialty or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification. 
• Knowledge on AWS architecture 
• Knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts.
