The team
Deloitte is working with global customers on cloud technologies to help them spot unseen business trends, transform, and curate data to find meaningful insights, and so on. Due to continued expansion, we’re searching for like-minded individuals to help us ‘take it to the next level’.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing data ingestion and transformation pipelines for large-scale organizations. We are seeking someone with deep technical skills in a variety of technologies to play an important role in developing and delivering early proofs of concept and production implementation.
You will get good experience in building solutions using a variety of open-source tools on a cloud platform and a proven track record in delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines.
Scope of Work & Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or cloud infrastructure roles
- 2+ years specifically focused on DevSecOps, with hands-on implementation of security tools and practices
- Security Integration in DevOps Pipelines
- Integrate security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA) into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as SonarQube, Checkmarx, Fortify, Aqua, Prisma Cloud, or JFrog Xray
- Automate vulnerability scanning of containers, images, and code repositories
- Implement and manage secrets management solutions like HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or CyberArk
- Infrastructure and Cloud Security
- Design and implement secure IaC (Infrastructure as Code) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
- Enforce security controls and policies across cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI)
- Ensure proper configuration of firewalls, IAM roles, security groups, and network segmentation
- Compliance & Monitoring
- Establish logging and auditing frameworks using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK, or Sentinel)
- Create automated compliance checks aligned with CIS Benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001, or PCI-DSS
- Monitor pipelines and environments for anomalies and security incidents
- Container and Kubernetes Security
- Secure containerized workloads on platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or EKS/AKS/GKE
- Implement policies using tools like OPA/Gatekeeper, Kubernetes Pod Security Policies, or Kyverno
- Apply image signing, runtime protection, and RBAC for Kubernetes clusters
- Collaboration and Enablement
- Partner with Infra, Security, and Engineering teams to shift-left security
- Conduct training sessions and workshops on secure development and DevSecOps best practices
- Contribute to internal security standards, guidelines, and documentation
- Required Skills
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Proficient in scripting: Python, Bash, or Groovy
- Familiarity with cloud-native security tools and open-source projects like Trivy, Falco, or kube-bench
- Solid understanding of software development practices, DevOps principles, and SDLC security
- Preferred Certifications
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
- Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
- HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
