FinOps Strategy & Cloud Economics

• Develop multi-cloud FinOps strategies across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.

• Implement showback/chargeback models and financial governance frameworks.

• Analyze and optimize costs including ingress/egress, compute, storage, and network 

usage.

• Define and monitor unit economics and workload-level cost accountability.

• Optimize hybrid (on‑prem + cloud) consumption and financial performance.

Cloud Optimization & Resilience

• Architect cloud and hybrid environments for resilience, DR, active-active, and lowlatency operations.

• Design and validate DR strategies spanning on-prem and cloud platforms.

• Ensure continuous optimization of reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.

DevOps & Tooling Expertise

• Set up and manage DevOps pipelines enabling automated deployments and governance.

• Implement CI/CD, policy-as-code, and monitoring frameworks to ensure cost and 

performance alignment.

• Evaluate and recommend tools for cloud optimization, cost governance, and operational 

visibility.

Stakeholder Management & Advisory

• Engage with finance, operations, and engineering teams to drive FinOps culture.

• Provide advisory support to leadership with cost insights, budget forecasts, and 

optimization recommendations.

• Conduct FinOps and cloud optimization workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

• Specialization in AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI cloud platforms.

• Deep understanding of cloud economics, billing models, and consumption patterns.

• Expertise in resilience strategies, DR, active-active systems, and performance 

optimization.

• Knowledge of DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, IaC, and automation frameworks.

• Familiarity with FinOps tools (e.g., CloudHealth, Cloudability, Azure Cost Management, 

AWS Cost Explorer).

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills for technical and executive audiences.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, engineering, and 

operations
