Job Summary 

We are looking for a Murex Production Support Analyst to provide L1/L2 support for Murex (MX.3) applications. The role involves monitoring production systems, resolving incidents, supporting business operations, and ensuring smooth functioning of trade lifecycle and related processes within SLA timelines. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide L1/L2 production support for Murex applications 

  • Monitor daily batch processes, end-of-day (EOD) runs, and system performance 

  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, tickets, and production issues within SLA timelines 

  • Analyze logs, identify root causes, and deliver quick resolutions or workarounds 

  • Coordinate with business users, developers, and upstream/downstream systems 

  • Support key Murex modules including:  

  • Front Office (FO) 

  • Back Office (BO) 

  • Risk & Reporting 

  • Manage interfaces, data feeds, and trade lifecycle-related issues 

  • Participate in release deployments, validation activities, and health checks 

  • Document recurring issues and contribute to knowledge base and SOPs 

  • Ensure adherence to change management and incident management processes 

 

Required Skills 

  • Basic understanding of Murex (MX.3) platform 

  • Knowledge of financial markets (Derivatives, Fixed Income, FX, etc.) 

  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands and basic scripting 

  • Basic knowledge of SQL and database queries (Oracle preferred) 

  • Understanding of trade lifecycle and risk concepts 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

  • Good communication and stakeholder management abilities 

 

Preferred Skills 

  • Exposure to Murex modules such as Datamart, Market Data, Static Data, or Workflow 

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management) 

  • Experience with scheduling, monitoring, or ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow, JIRA) 

 

Experience & Qualifications 

  • 1–5 years of experience in Murex Production Support or Capital Markets Support 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related field
