Deloitte is working with global customers on cloud technologies to help them spot unseen business trends, transform, and curate data to find meaningful insights, and so on. Due to continued expansion, we’re searching for like-minded individuals to help us ‘take it to the next level’.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing data ingestion and transformation pipelines for large-scale organizations. We are seeking someone with deep technical skills in a variety of technologies to play an important role in developing and delivering early proofs of concept and production implementation.

Manager/Associate Director | AWS Infrastructure

As an experienced Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements. 

Work you’ll do:

Apply industry knowledge to requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring alignment with sector needs. Demonstrate expertise across the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to deployment and defect resolution, collaborating with stakeholders for effective delivery. Conduct peer and team reviews to maintain quality standards. Actively engage in Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation. Build and share business process knowledge, supporting project knowledge management and team training. Proactively recommend process improvements, track efficiency gains, and contribute to automation and innovation, all aimed at enhancing project outcomes and delivering greater value to clients.

Our flexible delivery models—traditional teams, pools, or pods—are tailored to each client’s needs, offering engineering-led advisory, implementation, and operational capabilities to accelerate innovation.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage AWS infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to best practices.
• Define and implement cloud architecture standards, governance frameworks, and Landing Zone strategies.
• Oversee Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption using Terraform, CloudFormation, and automation tools.
• Drive cost optimization, performance tuning, and scalability initiatives across AWS environments.
• Ensure security and compliance through IAM policies, encryption, audit logging, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Security, Application) to align infrastructure with business goals.
• Mentor and guide teams on AWS technologies, automation, and operational excellence.
• Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new AWS services for adoption.
• Establish monitoring and observability frameworks using CloudWatch and third-party tools (Datadog, Dynatrace).
• Prepare and present strategic roadmaps and status reports to senior leadership.

Must-Have Skills:

• Extensive experience in AWS architecture and infrastructure management.
• Strong knowledge of multi-account AWS environments, Landing Zones, and governance.
• Expertise in IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) and automation scripting (Python, Shell, PowerShell).
• Deep understanding of networking, security, and compliance in AWS.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver large-scale cloud projects.

Desired Qualifications:

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Associate/Professional
• Experience with Agile methodologies and cloud transformation programs.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a track record of managing complex cloud initiatives.
