You will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements. Work you’ll do: Apply industry knowledge to requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring alignment with sector needs. Demonstrate expertise across the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to deployment and defect resolution, collaborating with stakeholders for effective delivery. Conduct peer and team reviews to maintain quality standards. Actively engage in Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation. Build and share business process knowledge, supporting project knowledge management and team training. Proactively recommend process improvements, track efficiency gains, and contribute to automation and innovation, all aimed at enhancing project outcomes and delivering greater value to clients. The team: Engineering as a Service provides complete design, implementation, and technology operations, leveraging our core engineering expertise. We transform engineering teams, modernize technology, and deliver complex programs with a product engineering approach. Our flexible delivery models—traditional teams, pools, or pods—are tailored to each client’s needs, offering engineering-led advisory, implementation, and operational capabilities to accelerate innovation. Qualifications Manager / Associate Director – AWS DevOps & Cloud Engineering We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager / Associate Director to lead our AWS DevOps and Cloud Engineering initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise in AWS cloud services, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, and cloud-native application delivery. You will be responsible for driving DevOps maturity across teams, architecting scalable AWS solutions, and ensuring operational excellence in deployment and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and other orchestration tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD.
  • Architect and manage AWS infrastructure using Landing Zones and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Ansible.
  • Oversee deployment of microservices in Kubernetes environments (Amazon EKS), including orchestration and Helm chart management.
  • Drive adoption of AWS-native services such as Lambda, Step Functions, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, S3, CloudFront, and IAM.
  • Implement observability frameworks using Amazon CloudWatch, Datadog, Dynatrace, Splunk, or similar tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Define and enforce branching strategies aligned with Agile release cycles and enterprise governance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps practices across development, QA, and operations.
  • Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with AWS security best practices and governance standards.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and drive their adoption where relevant. Required Skills & Experience
  • 6–14 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related leadership roles.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with AWS DevOps tools and AWS cloud services.
  • Strong expertise in CI/CD tools, Git, and scripting (Bash, PowerShell, YAML/JSON).
  • Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
  • Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and enterprise delivery models.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Preferred cAWS certifications such as: o AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional o AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional o AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
  • Exposure to cloud security and compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST, ISO).
  • Experience in managing large-scale cloud migration or transformation projects.
