Job Description – Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead (B2C eCommerce + Salesforce CRM)
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in B2C eCommerce platforms and Salesforce CRM testing. The role involves owning the quality assurance strategy across the entire eCommerce ecosystem, including integrations between eCommerce platforms, CRM (Salesforce), payment gateways, and backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead QA activities across the complete B2C eCommerce ecosystem, including:
- Product catalogue and merchandising
- Cart and checkout functionality
- Payment processing
- Order management and fulfilment
- Design and execute test strategies for complex integrations across multiple systems.
- Perform advanced API and integration testing across microservices and backend services.
- Validate payment gateway integrations such as Stripe.
- Ensure accurate integration between eCommerce platform, Salesforce CRM, and backend systems (e.g., SAP Hybris).
- Test CRM workflows within Salesforce, including:
- Customer profile creation and updates
- Order and case management
- Customer service workflows
- Data synchronization between eCommerce and CRM systems
- Perform data validation between systems to ensure data integrity.
- Analyse API responses, system logs, and backend data to identify issues.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers.
- Collaborate with global product, engineering, CRM, and business teams.
- Participate in release planning, risk assessment, and quality reviews.
- Identify and drive automation opportunities for API and integration testing.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in B2C eCommerce architecture and workflows.
- Extensive experience in API testing and integration testing.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce CRM testing.
- Experience validating end-to-end integrations between eCommerce platforms, Salesforce CRM, payment gateways, and backend systems.
- Experience testing payment gateways (Stripe preferred).
- Strong debugging, log analysis, and root cause analysis skills.
- Ability to work with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP Hybris / SAP Commerce Cloud.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Service Cloud or Commerce integrations.
- Experience with automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments.
- Experience working with microservices architecture.
Experience
- 5 – 8+ years of experience in QA with strong exposure to eCommerce and CRM systems.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
