Role Overview

Deloitte Bengaluru is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead strategic technology initiatives. This role requires strong delivery management skills, stakeholder engagement, and expertise in Agile and regulatory-driven environments. You will collaborate with business, technology, and operations teams to ensure successful delivery of projects aligned with compliance, security, and customer-centric principles.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Delivery: Manage scope, timelines, and budgets for technology projects.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with business stakeholders, product owners, and technology leads to align on priorities and outcomes.
• Agile Delivery Leadership: Drive Scrum/Kanban ceremonies, backlog grooming, and sprint planning for distributed teams.
• Risk & Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards, security policies, and operational risk frameworks.
• Financial Management: Track project budgets, forecast costs, and report variances to leadership.
• Vendor & Offshore Coordination: Collaborate with onshore and offshore delivery units for seamless execution.
• Reporting & Governance: Prepare status reports, RAID logs, and present updates to senior leadership and governance forums.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify process gaps and implement best practices for delivery excellence.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• 9+ years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably in Banking & Financial Services or large-scale enterprise projects.
• Strong understanding of digital transformation, payments, and compliance frameworks.
• Proven experience in Agile delivery and Scaled Agile frameworks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across onshore/offshore teams.
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, MS Project, and standard PM tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance (AML, KYC) and risk management principles.
• Ability to manage multi-vendor environments and distributed teams.
• PMP / PRINCE2 / SAFe certification mandatory.
