We are building and supporting enterprise-grade Mainframe Automation and System Monitoring solutions for global organizations, ensuring high availability, recoverability, and security of critical IBM z/OS environments.

Our teams focus on designing and implementing automation strategies using Broadcom OPS/MVS and IBM System Automation tools, enabling efficient operations, reduced manual intervention, and improved system reliability across distributed mainframe landscapes.

We work closely with global IT teams to ensure stable, secure, and highly automated mainframe operations aligned with enterprise standards and best practices.

Your Work Profile

We are looking for a Senior Consultant – Mainframe System Automation Engineer with strong experience in IBM z/OS system automation and monitoring tools.

The role involves designing, implementing, and supporting automation rules and monitoring solutions using tools such as OPS/MVS and IBM System Automation/NetView.

You will work closely with global stakeholders to deliver automation solutions, handle incidents, and support production environments while ensuring system stability, availability, and compliance with enterprise standards.

Key Responsibilities

Mainframe System Automation

• Administer and support Mainframe System Automation environments
• Manage creation and enhancement of monitoring and automation rules
• Ensure high availability and stability of automation systems

Solution Design & Implementation

• Design and implement automation solutions for IBM z/OS systems
• Deliver scalable and efficient automation aligned with business requirements
• Participate in project-based automation initiatives

Incident & Production Support

• Provide production support for mainframe automation systems
• Troubleshoot incidents and ensure timely resolution within SLAs
• Support problem and change management processes

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with global IT teams and stakeholders
• Understand business and technical requirements and translate them into solutions
• Ensure delivery aligns with enterprise standards and best practices

Continuous Improvement & Efficiency

• Contribute to automation strategy and operational efficiency initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve system automation and reduce manual effort
• Support analysis for improving mainframe operational processes

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in Mainframe systems (System Automation focus preferred)
• Strong experience working in IBM z/OS environments
• Experience in production support and system troubleshooting

Key Skills (Must-Have)

• Strong expertise in Mainframe System Automation
• Experience with automation tools such as:
  • Broadcom OPS/MVS
  • IBM System Automation (SA/NetView)
• Strong understanding of IBM z/OS environments
• Experience with incident, problem, and change management processes
• Hands-on experience in production support and troubleshooting
• Strong REXX scripting / programming skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)

Good-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to Confluence, Jira, GitHub
• Understanding of ITSM tools and workflows
• Experience in large-scale enterprise mainframe environments
• Knowledge of automation strategy and monitoring frameworks
• Exposure to cross-functional global delivery environments
