Your work profile

• The ideal candidate will support the organization in identifying, assessing, and mitigating digital risks through the application of industry-standard security frameworks.

• You will work at the intersection of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC), helping to ensure that our technology infrastructure and data assets remain secure against emerging threats.
• Risk Assessment & Governance: Support Risk Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and implement the Three Lines of Defense (LoD) model to manage technology risk.
• Framework Implementation: Assist in aligning security controls with international and regional frameworks, including NIST CSF 2.0, COBIT, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and MAS Technology Risk Management.
• Compliance Monitoring: Support compliance activities related to regulatory requirements (e.g., RBI Master Directions) and internal security policies.
• Threat Research: Conduct research on emerging cyber-attack vectors, digital risk trends, and new security technologies to proactively strengthen defense postures.
• Security Automation & Analytics: Utilize programming tools (Python, SQL) to automate reporting workflows and build data-driven dashboards to monitor security and business performance.
• Reporting & Documentation: Contribute to the drafting of high-level industry reports and security documentation regarding Information Security and Digital Risk trends.AI & Emerging Tech Security: Assist in evaluating the security of AI implementations, focusing on Responsible AI and cryptographic protections.

Key skills required:  

Technical Skills

• Cybersecurity Domains: Strong understanding of Information Security, Cloud Security, Digital Trust, and Third-Party Risk Management.
• Frameworks & Standards: Familiarity with NIST CSF 2.0, COBIT, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
• Programming & Data Analytics: Proficiency in Python and SQL for automation and data analysis.
• Cryptography: Basic understanding of cryptographic concepts (e.g., AES, RSA, hashing, and digital signatures).
• Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools like PowerBI or Streamlit.

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect complex technical risks and provide actionable insights.
• Communication: Strong professional writing skills for proposals and reporting; ability to present findings to diverse audiences.
• Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying vulnerabilities and proposing structural solutions.

Qualifications 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Certifications: Possession of (or progress toward) ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity (CC) or similar industry certifications.
• Specialized Training: Training or interest in AI Security and Responsible AI frameworks.
